Star Wars(TM) x-wing & TIE Fighter(TM) Quilted Bedding
Young Jedi will love our exclusive The Empire Strikes Back(TM) bedding collection. The soft, cotton-canvas quilt features Luke Skywalker's X-wing locked in battle with Darth Vader's TIE fighter; surrounding the large applique is an embroidered Death Star trench background. Pure cotton-canvas. Reverses to cotton percale. Pure cotton batting. Expertly quilted by hand. Cotton percale and twill appliques. I was dissapointed in the qulity of the quilting. There were loose threads and I felt like I had to knot them in order that they did not continue to unravel.
Another dissapointment was when I went to personalize the pillow I thought it would be what I saw as an example. It was a bit confussing because I wanted both pillows shown and could not see them sold seprately. My husband looked at the site and said both pillows would be included in the order. This was not the case and we ended up with the pillow we least wanted with the personalization at the bottom of the pillow where it can not be seen easily. Too bad...
Was pretty excitted about beddding before it arrived!!!

My son loves his new Star Wars quilt. It looks like a piece of art on his bed. It is sewn really well but it is not stiff like some quilts. It is soft enough to sleep under it's not too heavy. Now I need to order the Death Star Art to complete the room.

We got this for our little boy after debating whether or not to splurge on the bedding. Our son is two and just moving to a big bed, so I wasn't sure I wanted to invest in bedding at this point or wait until he's a little older. After spending a weekend driving EVERYWHERE and looking at all of the other stores, I came back and picked this up (it was the last one and I bought it off of the rack).
I am SO happy I did. Yes, it's a little more than I wanted to spend but the quality is absolutely top-notch. We bought the quilt and one sham (along with the solid red blanket) and our son loves them all. We do too! It's so cute with his new PBK bed. We just bought a couple sets of solid sheets elsewhere and they go great. I like to mix and match sheets, so it works out perfectly.
I'm so glad we spent a little extra and got this set for him because it's durable, adorable and he loves it. I love that it's held up so well and looks brand new still.

great quilt

this quilt looks just like the pictures. i did not have any trouble with the loose threads that others have mentioned. i washed it in a large front-loading washing machine before use, and it came out fine. my 4 yr old loooooves it!

I bought the Euro Sham for my four year od who loves SW!!! I just put it with the solid Navy quilt and it is perfect. The back so solid navy and has two places where it ties. Looks very well made. I'm very happy with this product. Feels like a thick quilted material. However, the back seems to catch lint easily. Still love the product. Good Job PBK!

poor quality

I bought the X-Wing quilt & shams for my 11 yr. old who LOVES Star Wars. I don't mind spending money on quality items, but boy, this was NOT it! There is loose stitching all over the place, on the quilt and both shams. So very cute, but quality was severely lacking - definitely below PBK standards.

I purchased the Darth Vader quilt from PBK and it began falling apart right away- after taking one back and then having the replacement have issues I decided to exchange my quilts for this quilt set.
I have two of these quilts because my son has bunk beds- the decorative stitching around the x-wing is inconsistent and there are spots with no decorative stitching at all but they arent the same on each quilt, it seems random where there is no stitching and I get that they are hand made but I would immagine for the most part they would look the same.
My second issue with quality is the white tac stitching all over the whole quilt. I've owned the quilt for a few days now and the stitching is already starting to pull out in areas.

I gave this item 3 stars because I love the motiff and styling. This quilt compared to the other has more weight and feels more expensive. Overall I subtracted the two stars because of the stiching and Im afraid it wont stand the test of time.

stitching came apart before use

the product is beautiful, but the stitching was already coming apart even as I unwrapped the comforter. Not recommended for kids AT ALL. Very flimsy

I bought for grandsons, 6,5,and 4...different families and the kids picked out. They could do a test market...they jump and climb and rumble on this product. The first two were bought a yr. and a half ago and still look great so we bought another for our middle grandson for his new room.

This bedding is great quality but the color looked much diffrent when I recieved it in the mail. The grey has a bit of a olive green tint to it. It is not a true dark grey. I am still keeping it because my son loves it, I will just have to change the color of the walls because now they do not match.

horrid quality quilt!

We had the navy blue Star Wars quilt & pillow sham (looks like it's no longer available). The quilted stitching has come out in numerous places, causing us to exchange both the quilt & sham twice! Unbelievable! Both the quilt & sham are more "decorative" than anything else and I have never had such a poorly stitched quilt, especially for the price. I love PBK, but not this quilt!

My son had been BEGGING for Star Wars bedding. So, when he was visiting his grandparents, I bought it for him as an eraly birthday gift (turning 7 in early April). I didn't tell him I had done this. Upon returning from his trip, he walked into his room & did not notice it at first. But when he did, he went NUTS over it. Who knew bedding could make an almost 7 year old so happy! This is our 3rd PBK bedding and just as with the other two, GREAT quality!

Another great looking Star Wars quilt. My son just loves it. We also have the 2 matching shams and Eur shame.
Only con is the quilt doesn't really match the SW sheets but you can't really see those when the bed is made.

Great blanket for little boys who love Star Wars

Ordered this quilt/blanket for my son, and he absolutely loves it. It matches the sheets and his room, so it was an instant hit. He normally kicks of blankets, but this one is heavy enough that it stays on all night and is a perfect weight to keep him warm but not too hot.

Square Bedding???

The bedding is ok but only if you have a bed with a footboard. My sons crib turned into a full size bed but with no footboard. It looks AWEFUL...I'm trying to talk my son into letting me take it back but Santa got it for him :( Should have read closer...guess I assumed Pottery Barn would not make a square quilt.

I purchased this to re-do my boys' room, as our youngest will be moving from his crib to the big boy bed, and our oldest is tired of "trains" and they both LOVE star wars. I was very hesitant to buy it after reading others' reviews about quilt breakdown after washing. I washed them both immediately after getting them (JIC I needed to return them) and was very happy that they held up great- no change in color, weight and no loose threads. I can't wait to see their faces Christmas morning!

I bought this bedding set (and sheet set) for my son's 7th birthday. He absolutely loves it! The quilt is very thick and soft. The pillow shams are the same. Awesome quality and great design. Worth every penny.

LOVE the Star Wars bedding @PBK. The quilt is pricey, but it is very good quality ... looks great & feels good. The sheet sets are fabulous too. Highly recommend & I can justify the $$ spent b/c it will last a very long time. I have yet to know a "boy" who has outgrown Star Wars !!!
