Wingback Convertible Rocker
We crafted this plush rocking chair with nursing mothers' needs in mind. The padded head rest is extra supportive, and the winged back and smaller armrests offer more shoulder and elbow space. It's carefully crafted with a solid hardwood frame and hardwood runners, and can be converted to a traditional armchair with the purchase of stationary feet. 33.5" wide x 32" deep x 43" high Expertly crafted with a solid hardwood frame and extra-thick padding on the arms and back. Sturdy hardwood runners provide smooth, quiet motion. Knobs on the front and back of the runners keep the chair stable as you rock or stand up. Add value with extra feet (sold separately) that allow you to convert this versatile piece to a traditional armchair when rocking is no longer necessary. Beautiful, comfortable and worth every penny spent. It did take some time to receive the recliner. Also, when we first received the chair, there was a very strong chemical odor associated with it that eventually wore off. Despite that, I do love this piece and think it's a great investment, especially since you can change the rocker legs to different legs when you're ready to use it for other purposes.

I lived in this chair when my baby was born, and I still do. All her feedings are done in this chair. It's so comfortable, and the wingback is great for sleeping in -- the sides let you rest your head against something, unlike some other chairs I've seen where you can only throw your head straight back. (My 6'2" husband also loves the high back, too.) I'm especially glad I got a rocker instead of a glider, because with a rocker you can tilt back more and ease the flow if you're breastfeeding.
The chair does move a bit, as previous reviewers said, but I notice it usually does this only when I rock the chair particularly hard. A light rock doesn't seem to move it. Regardless, that's minor to me. I wanted a chair that was comfortable, sturdy, and looks great. We've used this chair constantly, and it still looks as new as the day we bought it.
One of the best baby-related purchases we've made.

Excellent Chair, poor rocker

I love this chair. Very comfortable, very attractive, durable, etc. I would have rated it higher but the chair "walks" while rocking. after about 5 minutes of rocking the chair will walk a couple of feet into the wall. I have tried different surfaces like hardwood or carpet...even put a natural gum rubber pad under the rockers with no luck. It also doesn't walk strait back but will slowly rotate towards one of the rockers. The best I can think of is that the center of pressure on the rockers and the angle that the rockers are mounted to the underside causes this. Very annoying when trying to rock a baby to sleep and you run into the wall after a few minutes.

Very comfortable - but a long wait!

This is a very comfortable rocker - nice and cushy - good for parents on the tall side. The wingback makes it feel very cozy. I am only giving it 2 stars because the wait for delivery is outrageous - PBK says 6-8 weeks but it's actually 99 days on the west coast, which is 14 weeks - that's a big difference and so just be aware if you are ordering - order early!

I just got this rocker for my nursery...I love the chair! It is very comfortable. My husband and I really like that you can buy standard legs for the chair so it can eventually be placed in another room in the house.
Great purchase from PBK!!
