Cream & Red Stripe Fair Isle Stocking
As cozy as a winter sweater, our striped Fair Isle Stocking adds a warm touch to the mantel. The personalized cuff gives each family member their own special sense of anticipation. 7" top width x 12" sock length x 18" long Sewn of a wool-acrylic blend and lined with cotton jersey. Stockings look amazing and aren't so enormous that your kids will think they're being slighted if you don't put 50 stocking stuffers in it. Only issue is the boldness of the green monogramming on the ivory and red stockings. Thought the green would be darker than what turned out. Looks more pastel than xmas green.

I Ordered this stocking online and had not checked it out in the store. I had been hesitant to buy it at first because it looked much smaller than the fair isle stockings. I was very pleased when they arrived. The stockings were more than big enough and great quality with a nice liner. They look great on my fireplace. Could not be happier!

I ordered this stocking for our new baby. I wanted a simple one that would last through the years. It was perfect and simple. Only thing I was a little disappointed in is this green stitching is a bit lighter then I was hoping for.

Great Stocking!

Love this stocking. It's smaller in person than it looks in the picture, but still a good size. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I wish they would maximize how big the name is embroidered. My husband's name is Peter and it looks tiny on the cuff. It is lined so it won't stretch over time when Santa fills it up to the max :)

Personalization is Poor Quality

Ordered three with names on them - each name is in a different vertical position on the stocking cuff. This makes them look sloppy when hung up together on the mantle. The personalization was very expensive so I was expecting them to look professional.

I was really happy when I received this stocking. It is really good quality and something you can keep for a lifetime. The embroidery was beautiful too and I thought fairly priced for $7 additional. I had thought it was $7 per letter at first and then got excited when I realized it was $7 for the whole name. When I have my second kid I will buy the matching one in green and red.

I recently purchased this stocking for my daughter, and it wasn't what I expected. It looks much more country vs. classic than I thought it would be because the cream strips are darker, vintage looking- almost dirty. However, if you are looking for a country feel, I think you'll be pleased. I would return it if I didn't customize it.

This stocking is so cute. I actually love the color (not stark white) more like a light cream or oatmeal color and red. The quality is great and the size is perfect. The monogram could be a little bigger but it still looks great.

I loved this however when it said knit I assumed cotton;( it's a rough wool that I'm allergic to:( since its personalized I can't return. Wish I knew.

I bought 2 of these along with 3 of the Sherpa ones. All were embroidered with the red and they go very nicely with each other. I am very pleased. As the description of this stocking reads "Cream and Red", don't expect "white". The cream in this stocking pairs very well with the Sherpa stocking. The stitching for the embroidery is the same color as the red in the stocking. I love these and feel this was a great investment!

Loved the stocking but was disappointed in the color of the green stitching. I thought it was going to be a dark green that would look better on the stocking instead it was a pale green that looks funny next to the cream and dark red.

Excellent traditional knit stocking

I bought this stocking last christmas for my oldest child. I had a handmade knitted stocking growing up and wanted the same for my children. Had a hard time finding a knit stocking that I liked. Then I found this one at pottery barn. Exactly what I was looking for. This is a great quality stocking. Excellent knitting and lined on the inside. The color cream and red stripes is beautiful and looks great hanging from our fireplace. Had it monogrammed in the Garamond Font in red. Monogramming was beautiful. Not too small at all. Can read the name easily. Stocking is more than large enough to fit a lot of stuffers in. Pleasantly surprised at how large the stocking is... Glad I didn't get the larger ones, they would have been too big. So happy that Pottery Barn Kids brought these stockings back this year, so I can buy another one for our new addition that will match his brother's stocking. Keep bringing this product back! It's great, and I want to be able to buy it for future children!

I ordered the white and red fair isle stocking with monogramming.
It arrived and was more of a beige than a white or even a cream.
I called customer service and even though it's monogrammed they were very helpful and are taking it back. The stocking itself was beautiful, but the colour was not even close to what was pictured.
Dissapointed as I won't have a stocking for my son to coordinate with the other stockings :(

Let me begin by saying that the quality of the stocking itself is very high. As another reviewer has pointed out, this stocking is cream and deep red. The picture definitely makes the cream stripe appear much lighter and brighter than it actually is. My disappointment with this stocking lies with the monogramming. I chose one of the cursive fonts with red thread. First of all, the monogramming was not straight...so much for quality control. Secondly, the red thread doesn't match the red on the stocking. There is an obvious difference in the reds and it looks terrible. Finally, font size is so small that the name is difficult to read when standing several feet away.
If you don't intend to personalize the stocking, it is very cute. However, if a personalized stocking is what you're after, I wouldn't recommend this one. I'm already looking for a replacement.

Red and Cream Fair Isle Stocking

I ordered this for my grandson. I love the stocking, but I dislike the monogramming because it is not straight on the stocking--it goes down a bit as one looks at the letters. I think that it would have looked much better if the name were straight and in larger letters.

Not White- It's cream

Please be aware that this product is not "WHITE" as it appears in the picture of the description. I received my personalized stocking today and it is atually cream in color. I wanted white and red. I called and they refunded me but I also asked the agent to make sure the update the description so others will not have this same problem. I would reccommend the product to others if you want cream. It's very nice.
