what a waste

Cool idea but didn't even work. Not even right out of the package. It doesn't even take regular batteries so it costs more to replace the batteries than the entire device cost at purchase. If it hadn't been so cheap I would be really put out. It was a stocking stuffer and a total dud.

Fun, but...

Lots of fun for my 5 year old to hear his voice played back. The only downside is that you can only record for a super short period of time. For example, my husband was trying to record "Merry Christmas Weston" in a non-rushed but not overly drug out voice and it kept cutting him off. This toy could only be that much more fun with the capability to record for a bit longer.

Great stocking stuffer for our son this year. He has had a blast with it!! You can only record for a few seconds, though and voice scrambler only holds 1 recording at a time.

voice scrambler

My son was very happy to get this toy because one of his best friend has one. He likes this toy a lot but I think it does not scramble your voice very well. He played with it for a little then forgot all about it . I don't know if it is because of boredom or it's because he got a megaphone that makes his voice louder and he loves hearing his voice. My son is 7yrs old and enjoys making various sounds with his voice. Hopefully he'll go back to playing with it again.

I bought five of these for my son,nephews and friends kids and they all loved them. My son hasn't laughed so hard in a long time and it was really fun to see him enjoying this toy!!

Description is misleading

While my son finds this amusing and it does in fact scramble your voice. The physical description is not correct and the buttons are imbedded in the product. Just doesn't work well for us.

I purchased this as a stocking stuffer so I have not opened the package yet. -Reason for only giving it 3 stars. But, I do believe my son will enjoy because he loves to play with my voice scrambler on my iPhone! This way he will have one all to himself. If it does not last long I will not be too broken hearted because I only paid $12 for it. My satisfaction comes from its handy size to be a perfect stocking stuffer my child will enjoy!

Waste of plastic, time and money

This is an awful toy! The easter bunny bought it and decided NOT to include in basket it was such a disappointment. The plan is to return it.

very cute voice scrambler--really works! ages 5-13 would enjoy. my 9-year old son for his bday is crazy about it! the voices can turn out squeaky and high when scrambled. lots of fun!! at a reasonable price!
