Different Design than the past

I have three of velvet ribbon stockings I ordered last year. When I saw PBK had them again this year I was so excited to order them for my infant son (his first Christmas). Just got the product today and I am SO disappointed! The stocking is not the same as last year's, there isn't any gingham material on the toe, the main ribbon on the stocking is white instead of green, and the stitching on the top is different! I thought the product would be the same!! So now we have three of the same stocking and one that doesn't quite match up. Boo! However, the stockings, are very well made, thick material, and very generous in size. The PBK quality you expect.

For several years I have ordered the Velvet stocking for my family...as we grew. I choose this collection because they would be traditionally classic. I have been so proud of them and had them monogrammed with each persons name. This year we had a new baby grand daughter. I ordered the Red Ribbon Stocking noticing some difference (viewing online) from previous years but I was disappointed with many differences. Not only the color of the ribbon and the lack of gingham on the toe but also with the size. Why change something so classic and traditional? The ones bought previously I would rate a 5 but not this one.

Not what I was expecting

I was very unhappy with both the quality of this stocking and that it did not match ones I had ordered in previous years.
Not only was stocking smaller than previous years version, but stitching seemed to be inferior (uneven and not as neat/finished looking). The stocking I received had a pulled thread, so I ended up returning it for a store credit (since I had it personalized).
This is definitely not the quality I expect from PB :(

don't order to match an existing set

If you are trying to order a stocking to match those you've purchased in the last 5 years, note, this year's is different. It is smaller, the colors are different, the quality not as good.

Different product, poor quality

I ordered 2 from this year hoping they would match what I purchased previously. The new version is sorter and cheaply made. Unfortunately, I had them monogrammed and cannot return them. I always think of Pottery Barn as excellent quality but may have to rethink that after this purchase.

Old Style at Outlet

We just bought 15 of these for all the grandkids.... The new ones are smaller than the previous years but when I went to the outlet I noticed they had the older one that was larger (and tons of them). If you are looking to match previous years head to the outlet! Still great quality.. Unbelievable price!!!!!!

Great Stocking

I ordered these because I wanted personalized stockings for my family now that we have a baby. I didn't realize just how big these would be and I think they are perfect! They will fit a good amount of stocking stuffers in there and will last for many years. I would definitely recommend these to everyone.

I purchased the velvet stockings and chose the Beige thread. Unfortunately, the thread is barely darker than the stocking! I'm hoping to have this replaced with another thread color, but return policy looks like I can't. Choose your colors wisely.

Different style and quality than before!

I just bought one of the velvet stockings for our new baby. We already own 4 others that were purchased in 2010. The old ones were beautifully quilted and excellent quality!
I thought that I was going to be getting the same quality stocking, since the old ones are pictured on the website. That is not the case!
The new ones are not even the same size or style They are 3-4 inches shorter, filled with a cheap puffy batting, and the stitching is not the same quality or handquilted look. I could probably find the same or better quality at a discount store.
At least I had free shipping, since this one will be going back. I'm hoping I can find another stocking elsewhere to match our set.
I'm a loyal PBK customer, and I'm disappointed to see the lack of quality and poor description of these stockings. They should have at least taken down the old stocking pictures, since they are NOT the same.

I ordered this stocking for my daughter. I got her brother the airplane one! They are so adorable! Bigger than other stockings and very well made. Well worth the money!
