Easy to install and functions well with no cords.
Overall appearance is good but fabric arrived somewhat wrinkled which hasn't smoothed out after hanging for a few weeks.

Outside mount not blackout
April 3, 2013
Do not buy if you need to outside mount, shade does not block light from room and defeats the purpose of spending extra dollars for blackout. Due to the way you have to hang it light come in from sides of shade as it isn't flush with window.
Also, white blackout shade did not match the PBK white blackout drapes we purchased.
It was a beautiful shade though and wish it had worked out.

Thrilled with this purchase!
May 24, 2012
I read the 2 reviews below and hesitantly decided to purchase the shade regardless. We've had the shade up for about a month now and couldn't be more thrilled! We've spent a small fortune making our son's room just right and it has been an awesome addition! It was easy to hang and we're thoroughly impressed with how it retracts. We do have it up during the day and pull it down at night without problems. We would definitely recommend this shade!

roman shades not for me
March 2, 2012
I am used to really well made products by Pottery Barn but I have to say when I opened up the box, I was really disappointed that these roman shades were actually sent out in the condition they were sent in. They were folded neatly but the amount of wrinkles in the fabric is incomprehensible, as though it was a bunched up mess and someone sewed it into roman shades. You really *can't* iron these. I put them up and took them down, they really don't look as good as I thought they would. I am going to return them tomorrow.
