Glorified Paint Pen
February 19, 2013
I should have heeded the warning of other customers. This does not match our "simply white" dresser at all; it's bright white. I'm just glad I noticed it and was able to wipe off the paint before it completely ruined the furniture. I tried it on other bright white furniture, and it's just a paint pen, easily purchased at a craft store, and does not cover any scratches. It is also highly toxic; probably not best for baby's crib anyway. I really like Pottery Barn products, but this one was a dud. Don't waste your money.

Poor quality
January 14, 2013
The touch up pen does not work. The felt tip doesn't absorb the paint so you are basically just spreading globs around (which is very uneven). I took out the felt tip and just stuck a small paintbrush inside and applied the paint that way which worked better. I wish it had a brush inside of it like nail polish. Then pens are also expensive for the amount of paint in them.
I was disappointed with potterybarn

Doesn't match!
September 19, 2012
We own a Catalina bed bought last year and had a few small nicks that needed covering. The white touch up pen is pure white - not the pretty "off-white" Pottery Barn color of the Catalina bed. The pen leaked too much when coming out and it bled and by the time I ran for a paper towel it had partially dried-I tried to rub it off but it didn't work all the way. Now there is a scratch AND a smeared visible white patch. Please make a matching color so our beautiful bed keeps looking new! So disappointed!

White paint doesn't match Madeline collection
August 23, 2012
I was very disappointed with this white touch up pen. It's a plain bright white paint, nothing Pottery Barn about it... It does NOT match Madeline collection we bought less than a year ago. It would probably work on the corners but not on flat surfaces. My daughter's furniture used to have scratches, now it has bright white stripes. Looks ugly!

Touch up pens
January 20, 2012
I bought the camp bunk bed in navy for my boys last year and it's got a couple if Knicks n scratches from the boys ! This touch up pen is a lifesaver! Making the beds look new again!
If you have PBK furniture line, then this pen is a must. From my experience with this pen in white color, it is best to apply and blot after 30 seconds or so to help it blend. Otherwise it will dry and you will be able to see streaks, lines, or the touch up will be raised and not flat or level. Blotting it gently helps it blend into the paint of the furniture. Once dry, no one will notice a blemish was there or that you touched it up. EXCELLENT. Perfect match to the Madeline and Madison line.

Must Have Pen!
April 16, 2011
I was amazed as to the ease and match of this product. We have made a great purchase with this touch up pen. The color could not be anymore perfect and it was a no brainer to use. No mess at all and no one (buying furniture) should leave a Pottery Barn store without this pen.

Touch up with caution
July 21, 2010
I have mixed feelings about this touch up pen. All I can say is be carefull before you start touching up. Yes this will cover up the chips and scratches but if your not careful you can make the furniture look worse with this and not better. If your touching up on a flat survace when this dries it will leave a coating on the furnature that looks like dried glue. It will be especially obvious in bright light or when the sun shines. So I wouldnt reccomend putting this all over flat surfaces. I would test it out first in a non obvious place. However for edges that the finish has scraped or rubbed off this works great as the shiny glue like finish of this pen will not be obvious here. Also in cracks and deep scrapes it will also not be obvious. So I found this pen to be useful in some aspects but in others use with caution.

Fabulous Touch Up Pen
November 20, 2009
I purchased the touch up pen in espresso and it has been great. It has touched up several pieces of furniture. It did require several coats but the end result was a very close match in color and blemishes that are now barely noticeable.
