Desk is equipped with a pencil drawer and two large storage drawers. Optional hutch (sold separately) offers three storage cubbies, a corkboard back, and a cord cutout for wire management. Beautiful and well made

Pro - easy to put together, I was able to do it all by myself. (Yes, my husband was busy watching football.) I did need help to move it into the spot when it was put together. The hutch made it even heavier. Beautifully made.
Cons - pricey
My son absolutely loves the desk and it is beautifully made. I'd recommend getting a desk surface protector.

I got this desk for my 5 year old. He loves it! It was very easy to put together except I needed to call because the instructions didn't give a clear explanation about removing the drawers before installing the side pieces. It looks great in his room and is good quality.

Excellent Product-colors are confusing!

I was very impressed once it arrived. Not a single dent from shipping nor defect from mfg. Fantastic quality and easy to assemble, very attractive for my girls room. Only frustration (1 star deduction): It took me hours to figure out what ‘white’ really meant. As far as I could tell PB has at least FIVE names for what apparently looks to be the same color: Rustic Sun Vally white, Antique white, White, Cottage white, Vintage white. Crazy! How on earth is one supposed to match something when you have so many different names for white. Even the 2 photos of the same desk each look a different white. Look for yourself. I’m hoping that PB marketing sees this review and considers providing 1) a legend or explanation of all the whites available (and likely other colors have the same problem; 2) consistency in the lighting of their photos because the same product does NOT look the same color in different photos.

My Son's first desk

We are very pleased with the desk and it has plenty of room for storage and my son loves to have his own desk. He see me at my desk and he goes to his. The desk is very elegant.

Beautiful Desk

The desk and hutch looked so pretty in the catalog. I was worried that it may not coordinate with the catalina bed and dresser. When they came in, it exceeded my expectations. It matched the furniture, was so pretty, as well as sturdy and took no time at all to assemble. My daughter loves it and already started doing her artwork on it. I would advise getting a desk mat too.

Once again another great product from Pottery Barn! We bought the desk in the sun valley honey and it looks great! It's the perfect set- and we're so glad we purchased it!

As soon as I got this desk, my children always want to do their homework at the desk!!! It has great quality, and I would suggest this product to anyone!!

Don't Bother...

I purchased this and have had nothing but problems! I was first sent two right side panels, requested a replacement part, which was not processed properly the first time. Then, once it was assembled, the key board draw did not close completely and one of the knobs had a crack in it! For the cost of the desk, I would expect better quality.

Great looking desk

I really loved this desk in the magazine but was not able to see it up close(it was never available at any local store).I certainly was not disappointed, the quality, color, and speedy delivery is everything i have come to expect from PB kids. The details are exactly as described. I would suggest buying the desk guard available in plastic that is also offered. The wood is solid but if like me- you have wild boys that tend to be a little hard on things, the wood is soft pine, could become dented. I love it so much I am buying the rest of the furniture!
