My child loves it

When I bought this, I didnt read the reviews or the description. Once I did, I was a bit scared of what the product looks like. I opened the box, I thought it wasn't too bad. Yeah, it's not what typical Pottery Barn would be and it didnt look like picture posted online. However, my son loves it and it does look good In his room. 4 stars only because the picture online looks like real wood and is a bit misleading in comparison to the actual painted product.

Wood look but more durable

Let me say clearly that I would never have paid full price for this item... but the clearance price is fair. It truly does look like real wood unless you pick it up and feel that it's a plastic-type material of sorts. The best thing is that you can hang in a bathroom or another moist room with no worries. I hung in my tween boys' bathroom and they love it! We have a craftsman style home so it blends perfectly yet add adds a fun touch.

Not what I expected

I just opened the package and its nothing like the picture. The color is way off and it looks very very cheap. I was looking for another look more like handcrafted or vintage. This look very fake.

The picture online is no comparison to the product we received. The item we got looks down right hokey. I am really disappointed. Compared to the quality of items I normally get from Pottery Barn, this definitely failed. The faux wood, (painting) looks ridiculous, It's hard to tell that it is supposed to be a shark at all, or wood for that matter.
