Star Wars(TM) R2-D2(TM) Rug
This unique rug for fans of all ages features a simple blue and gray design celebrating everyone's favorite Astromech Droid. Hand tufted of pure wool. Fibers are yarn dyed for lasting, vibrant color. A mixture of cut and looped pile adds texture and dimension. Self bound for enduring quality. Recycled canvas backing with synthetic latex. Use with our Rug Pad (sold separately). Imported.

Great quality

I hesitated for a while on this rug since I thought it was a bit pricey. But I'm glad to say this is an instance where you get the extra quality for the extra price. It's very thick and soft, just what we needed for our hardwood floor (Star Wars-themed) nursery. I could sleep on this rug it's so comfortable, lol.
I would personally definitely recommend a rug mat underneath though if you're using it on a slick hard surface. It slips very easily on our floor without it.

We have had this rug in the 3x5 size for a few weeks, and it rounds out my son's Star Wars bedroom perfectly. The quality is really nice - it's very thick and soft on bare feet. I placed a thin rug pad under it to keep it from sliding around. One note re. color: The blue in the rug is a very muted, grayish navy blue - not as bright as it appeared on my computer screen. But it's a nice neutral color. I recommend it!

The quality of this rug is absolutely amazing. It is thick and soft, the colors and design are very well done, and the joy on my son's face when he first saw it cannot even be described. What a unique rug!

Perfect for our "Nerdery"

As a Star Wars fan, I was excited to find out I was having a little boy. Upon discovering that PB Kids has a Star Wars line, I immediately decided on the R2D2 rug. The description listed the need for a rug pad, but I do not see a need for one now that it's in the room. The rug is plush enough on its on. It is also soft enough that I think it will serve as a great nursery rug. Well worth the money!

We bought this 5x7 rug for our boys' room, and it fits right in with the rest of the PB star wars decor. I am also a big star wars fan, and love the simplicity and elegance of this rug (for an adult!). The only thing I dislike about this rug is that it is more difficult to vacuum than other rugs because of the different layers in the rug. Other than that, we have no complaints! Would definitely buy it again.

I must say I have been extremely dissapointed in PB rugs as of lately. I had to return 3 other rugs b/c of cheap/rough quality. We just received this rug and I LOVE IT. It is super thick and soft, unlike the other Pottery Barn rugs. It is very cozy to lay and play games. It is so so soft. I highly recommend it!!!!

We received this rug as a gift for my 4 year olds new room. IT was in the 3x5 size and it is so great. The rug is thick and sturdy. The blue is a beautiful Navy Blue and R2-D2 is a light smoky grey. It requires several vacuum times as it does have lint at first. The rug is very well made in its thickness and color. It also is a great accent piece to any room. My son loved it for his new SW room. Thank you PBK another job well done.
