Colors Bleed
March 19, 2013
Love the bedding until I washed it a few times. Red bleeds and now after less than a year, the sheets are pink and stars are faded. Followed washing directions as labeled. Super cute, but very disappointing.

disappointed with red stars
March 12, 2013
These sheets were so perfect for my son's room, but unfortunately kept bleeding in the wash. I should have contacted PB the first time after I saw the stars bleed because when I finally called them (after the sheets were virtually pink) they would not accept them. It was outside of the 90 day window so I was out of luck. I even washed them as according to the directions. Be careful! I had no problems with the blue stars, however.

Terrible ink quality
January 24, 2013
I purchased the red star pillow case as an accessory to the brown quilt and sham. The pillowcase faded in the first wash and ruined the entire load of wash. I am a long time PB fan and have never seen such poor quality from PB.

Bleeds when washed!!!!
January 21, 2013
We bought the red star sheets for my son's room, and while they are incredibly soft, the red stars bleed EVERYWHERE when washed (I even washed them on gentle). Customer Service was good, and is having the damaged sheets picked up tomorrow and will refund my money, though I am warning everyone, DO NOT BUY THE RED SHEETS!

Bleeding stars
November 13, 2012
Despite the mixed reviews, I took a chance and got my son these adorable sheets. Wish I hadn't.
I followed the washing directions to the letter and the pillowcase still bled, so we now have streaked, faded stars and pink on a white background. VERY disappointing, considering the price! The sheets are also much rougher than expected. Maybe just a bad batch from a different manufacturer than positive reviewers received?

Quality drop
November 7, 2012
I purchased sheets and a duvet cover from Pottery Barn Kids 5 years ago for my 4 year old son. The quality was terrific. After 5 years of heavy washing, the sheets and duvet cover look great. However, my 9 year old son has outgrown the babyish style so I went ahead and purchased these Star sheets and duvet cover. They came out wrinkled after a wash, they're not as soft as our old set, and not as durable. The quality has dropped in the last 5 years, which is too bad since they make such cute prints.

Don't waste your money
October 6, 2012
I purchased the red star pillow cases for my son's bed. The red from the stars bled all over the pillow case. I followed the manufacturer instructions. They look horrible now.

Nicest 200 count sheets ever
August 16, 2012
Probably the organic cotton but these are the nicest 200 count sheets I've ever purchased. Washed up nicely, no bleeding (red) without special handling. Love the versatility of this color and pattern.

Red stars bleed even with precautions
July 30, 2012
I read the reviews before ordering these and washed them in cold water and even put in two shout color catchers (that came out pink). The pillow cases and flat sheet had a little bleeding but the fitted sheet was the worst! All the sheets have a pink cast to them and there are spots everywhere and color bleeding off the stars running into the white. So disappointed! I hope I can at least exchange them for a different sheet set and that this doesn't happen again with PB Kids bedding!

My son is in love!
July 25, 2012
I ordered these sheets with the Patchworks quilt and we are so impressed. The quality is incredible and I had many concerns about the red stars running into the white sheet but I'm happy to say that using a regular wash everything came out the color it was supposed to! My five year old actually loves to make his bed everyday now and always goes to bed telling me how nice his sheets feel. I had reservations about spending this much on a childs sheet set but I will gladly be ordering another because we are so happy with how they look and that they can be washed just like every other sheet in the house!

kids bedding
July 13, 2012
I purchased both the red star and blue star organic bedding for my 2 and 4 year old. With first washing I was VERY impressed that none of the colors (not even the embroidering personalization) ran in the wash. The bedding is soft and snuggly. Both kids have enjoyed their new bed sheets and duvets to match

Nice sheets
May 17, 2012
I was scared to purchase these sheets at first after reading about the colors bleeding after washing them. I purchased them anyways and I am glad I did (the blue stars). I washed them as recommended and didn't have any problems. They are not as soft as I thought they would be (actually they are kind of rough) but maybe after a few washes they will soften up. These sheets look great in my sons room.

Love the stars!
April 20, 2012
After reading the reviews, which I rely on heavily when making decisions regarding online purchases, I had second thoughts...but the star design is something I've been looking for, particularly in these colors. No problems after the first wash (whew!) -- threw in a color catcher, no bleach, and the colors were just as before. [I just wish the sheets also came in Twin XL, a size that's not always easy to come by in the colors I need.] Pricey? A bit. But you really do pay for quality. The entire blue bedding set is here, still waiting for the red (quilt and quilted sham). I REALLY do love these stars...and, best of all, so do my boys!

Poor quality
March 19, 2012
I purchased these sheets for a beach house bunk room along with the matching quilts/euro/pillow shams. High quality quilts etc, but not the same for the sheets. Love the look but the quality of the sheets is terrible. After one wash, the stars ran (I have both red and blue). No longer crisp white against the stars but bleeding stars. Very disappointed - wish I had my money back.

Not Good
March 12, 2012
If you like white sheets with red stars, then this product is not for you. I have washed these sheets only twice and separately, according to directions, and the sheets are now pink with faded red stars. Very poor quality. Also, the sheets seemed much softer before washing. They are now sort of scratchy. Will not buy sheet sets from Pottery Barn Kids again.

Good Quality
March 10, 2012
I got the pillowcase to go on an extra pillow with my sons Star Wars sheets. I however did not have it personalized. This is just as soft as all their other sheets. Washes well and comfy to sleep on the stars are a deep navy which is exactly what I wanted. It goes really well with the chamois/cozy blanket. Will definitely be buying another.

Expected Better Quality
February 10, 2012
When I washed the sheets just once in cold water the red stars already started to fade and the white is now slightly pink. I would have expected better quality for the price so I'm pretty disappointed. Especially since I also ordered the duvet cover. Also, I didn't notice in the description that the pillow cases were included with the sheet set and ended up wasting $28 on buying extra pillow cases.
