Spider-Man(TM) Backpack
School days and spring trips are always an adventure with this action-packed backpack in tow. It's designed with all the great features you'd expect in a Super Hero-quality pack, plus it has comic-book style prints kids love. Made from rugged, water-resistant 600-denier polyester. Polyester interior lining. Mini backpack holds a snack, a change of clothes, and a favorite toy. Small backpack holds a lunch bag, two small notebooks, two books and a water bottle. Large and Rolling hold a lunch bag, a large notebook, two small notebooks, several books and a water bottle. Detailed with reflective piping for safety. Adjustable and padded straps ensure a comfortable fit. Fairfax Lunch Bag (sold separately) piggybacks onto the backpack's exterior metal loops. Exterior side pockets are designed to hold our Klean Kanteen water bottles (sold separately).

Has some drawbacks

A year ago I purchased the StarWars back pack for my 5 year old son and was extremely pleased. the spiderman version falls short in 2 ways. This was for my 4 year old so I ordered the small size. It was ok but too small to really carry very much. I ordered another one in size large and it was so big he can't handle it on his back. Size large may suite an older child. Seems this version should have had a size medium. The 2nd drawback is how the lunch box clips onto the backpack. The star wars version uses flat clips top & bottom so you can easily carry lunch on the outside. This one has heavy, bulky clips. I struggle with them and my son can't operate them at all. They are also only at the top of the lunch box. Once they are clipped on, the lunch flops all around even drags lower than the backpack. Cute idea but just not that functional. I'd return it but I had them both monagrammed.

Spidey Backpack

Love the backpack itself and got the smallest size for my toddler based on the description saying that it could fit a lunch box and an outfit. The lunchbox doesn't even fit inside the bag. I got it embroidered so can't return it. Wish they would be more realistic on what actually fits in the bag.

Big Smile, small backpack

I enjoy most every pottery barn product that I purchase. The materials and colors are rich (like this beautiful backpack) and worth every penny. However, they missed the mark on size with this backpack. My 4 yr old attends school and takes books, a folder, toys & extra clothes to school. None of that fits in this bag (except a few toys). It was described as fitting a change of clothes (maybe they meant under clothes!). He can barely get his arms through the straps with his coat on (& he's small for his age). I even called the store to check the size & the lady said it would work but that they didn't have them in store. I would have immediately taken it back, but it's personalized & they say no returns on those items. So disappointed, but he loves Superman so he thinks its cool. Anything for the kids!
