I love this bento! Everything needed for your child's lunch fits in this one box and has its own compartment. It's easy to clean and dishwasher safe.

Spencer Stainless lunch box
December 16, 2012
The top part the divider not completely sealed, if put like peach, or Apple sauce the juice will go to the other side. the rubber around it the seal comes out easily. I got the container in Sept of 2012 already the lead is torn on the side.

Just what I was looking for.
November 26, 2012
After LONG consideration, I purchased two Bento Boxes for my 8-year-old boy and 5-year-old girl. I was looking for an all-in-one lunch container to help my own frustration with extra lids and handling multiple boxes. I tried some cheaper versions, but was never fully satisfied.
These are larger than I expected. Many days, I can get by with just using the top tray for their lunches. The bento top fits the top tray alone, although not perfectly (anything 'liquidy' would leak out, but it holds a sandwich, veggies/fruit/chips just fine).
My only complaint: There is a seal that fits the bottom tray to the top tray. After day #2, my son's seal went "missing". On day #3, my daughters seal was in the bottom of her book bag. The two trays will fit together without the seal, but if anything 'liquidy' was on the bottom tray, it would leak out and into the top tray. After spending $50 on a "lunchbox", I'd expect the seal to be more permanent.
Overall, I am happy with this purchase!

Nice concept but leaks
October 17, 2012
This fits nicely in the retro lunch bag. I like the concept with separate compartments, but the top compartments leak easily from one side to the next. So no grapes or strawberries on one side and crackers on the other unless your kid will eat soggy crackers. Also the rubber lining around the outside top falls off easily now after several runs through the dishwasher.

Bettter than I expected
September 26, 2012
I bought this because the other stainless steel containers were out of stock and I really want to move away from plastic food storage. Turns out I like this box better than what I was originally going to buy. It's much bigger than I was expecting which makes it a little big for a small child's lunch but great for older kids or meals on the go. For little guys you could put the lunch on top & leave the bottom empty. I like that it can contain an entire meal = less stuff to pack & less for my kids to keep track of. We eat on the go at least twice a week & I pack healthy meals from home so this is great for eating in the car or at practices. Top tray has a plastic seal for a snug fit. It's pricey compared to plastic food storage BUT we'll use this almost daily. Quality, basic, use all the time product.

LOVE THIS ITEM!
August 14, 2012
This is a perfect lunch container for either myself or my son! The stainless steel is so much better than plastic, and there are plenty of compartments for a full lunch. I highly recommend using the Mackenzie Retro lunch bag. It fits perfectly in the bottom, plus you still have room up top for a thermos and smaller container or a water bottle and smaller container!

New Favorite!
July 28, 2012
Great new offering by PBK! The top compartment has a silicone-type seal around the very edge so once you put it in place, the contents from the bottom compartment do not leak out. It is a tight fit into the Mackenzie classic lunch bag but there is just enough room for a klean kanteen.
