I cannot rationally explain why my daughter loves this toy so much, but she like apparently every other baby goes nuts over it. It is by far her favorite toy - her face lights up every time I say "Sophie" and give it to her. Her other toys look like more fun but this is what she prefers. She received it as a gift, but I would have bought it ten times over by now for all the use we get out of it. You will not regret this purchase for your teether.

And my baby loves it! Granted she is only three months and can't grab it and chew on it but she stares at it really hard and gets super excited when it squeaks! It's love at first sight! Totally worth it!

I bought this for my 2 month old because I heard it was supposed to be the best toy for a small baby. He is now 4 months old and it is his favorite toy! The legs are perfect size for his little hands to grasp, he LOVES chewing (gumming) it, and it's perfect size for him to tuck under his arm. I am buying two as gifts!

I haven't registred for too many teethers because of the great reviews of this product. Bought the Sophie teether and bath toy. I cannot wait for our Son to use them. What classics for toys!

The one toy that every baby either has or needs

LOL...it's funny at our Mommy and Me group, every baby has this toy and every mom sings its praises while the babies gnaw at it contently. I read all the reviews and hoopla about this toy before I bought it and decided to give it a shot and spend the money for pretty much a glorified dog toy and I am sure glad that I did. This toy apparently just begs to be chewed on and my daughter loves it. It is easy for small hands to hold and there are lots of things to bite on. We actually bought the second Sophie to put in her diaper bag.....

This toy makes a great gift for a baby shower. It was one of the first toys by daughter ever played with and she still loves it at 10mos old. The legs, ears, and nose make great places to chew which is great for teething babies! This toy is a must!

This was one of those things that I wanted to buy, but hesitated to spend money on. I finally caved in and was so glad that I did! My daughter adores Sophie. Not only is she cute to look at, but makes an adorable squeaking noise and is perfect for soothing teething gums. We lost 2 of these and bought a replacement because we couldn't be without!

My 51/2 month old does not go anywhere without "Jiggy". I know you are thinking it is overpriced...not so! It is worth every penny!! A must have for any teether!!

Although this rubber giraffe looks like an overpriced dog toy, my six month can't chew on it enough!
Each foot is a new surface to chew as well as the mouth and ears.
I wish I had bought it for him at four months instead of waiting- completely worth every penny.

BEST Teether

Sophie (we nicknamed "Squeaky") is the BEST teether. We can't go anywhere without her; she is definitely one of my son's top 3 must-haves. Her squeaker is that great quality that babies seem to LOVE and her rubber body lets even the smallest hands grasp her. Definitely a MUST HAVE!!

Unique Baby Toy

I would walk through the isles at the local baby store and look for toys to entertain a baby that has to be on the run. The plastic and plush overly colored toys were all that seemed to be on the market. (They have their place, but my son was bored.) Then, I found Sophie. Finally, a toy of a different texture. Sophie actually wasn't an instant hit though. My four month old baby was a bit thrown off by the rubbery smell at first. However, I kept introducing the toy and once he got used to the smell, he loved her! This was my baby's favorite toy for months. His personal favorite place to chew was on the feet. Sophie was a great teether and toy.

Sophie is so cute, and has become a very good friend for my little guy. She tags along in the carseat, and keeps him busy...he can chew on her and she makes lots of noise too!
