Damaged backpack
August 12, 2012
My daughter was so excited when her backpack got here and when I opened it for her I was so surprised to see that it was dirty and damaged, the hook for the key cahins was riped and almot comming apart, the ziiper pulls were the same way as well as the mesh from one of the sides, I was going to return it but she was determined to take it to a slumber party she had that same night, so we had to keep it, but I am so dissapinted with the company, I have purchased many itemsin the past and they use to have better quality.

Backpack
August 7, 2012
I ordered this backpack along with the fairfax lunch box, both in the same color and had them both personalized with my daughters name. I was very dissapointed to see that the thread color for the backpack was a different color green, than her lunchbox. The lunchbox thread is a very pretty, pastel green but the backpack one is much darker, more of a lime color. Since they will be used together, I wish they matched. Also, I wish that was clear when I was choosing the color green that they would be two completely different colors.

everyone loves it
June 18, 2012
Everyone at my daughter's daycare loves this bag. It is the perfect size for everything she needs for the day plus has plenty of room to grow as she does. We have only had the bag for a few weeks but it feels very well made and plan on her using it for years to come.

Good preschooler/toddler backpack
April 23, 2012
I bought this for my 1 1/2 year old for daycare/preschool because it matched the lunchbox we got last year in the same line. The pack is really cute and the lunchbox attaches to it which is nice. I like the cupholders on the side although they are a little shallow. Need a shorter cup I guess. Also, the color from one year to the next in this back is quite a bit different. Wish it had matched better but it's not too bad. Still happy with my purchase. Too small for a school-aged kid I think but good for a toddler.

Too small
April 17, 2012
The size is too small for a kindergartner. The size for other small backpacks, 12" wide x 6" deep x 15" high, is better...

Good for school not for play
April 13, 2012
Great size and shape for school. However, it is not a great bag for an overnight of swim class. It is hard to stuff a towel, suit and change of clothes in the bag.
Great for school days for folders, paper and colors. Also good for a road trip while in the car for books, toys and DVD or iPad.

Poor Construction
April 9, 2012
I purchased two of these backpacks to replace our old PBK backpacks that finally fell apart after two to three years of hard use. I am so incredibly disappointed. The monogramming on the first was crooked and there were places where random stitching appeared with strings of thread. The seahorse fell off of both within four days of light use (as my children are older and more gentle than in their younger years). I am returning these, but I may try another PBK backpack, as we so love our old ones. Also, we are usually happy with the quality of PBK products, and I feel that this is just an aberration.

Great Gift
April 3, 2012
I the personalized backpack as a gift to my niece, her parents loved it and she was overjoyed. Quality is exactly as expected for Pottery Barn (great). Happy I made the decision to send it as a gift!
