Expected better quality
April 10, 2013
The set is very cute but unfortunately all the pieces arrived with tiny dents. I'm not sure if this is normal. I will try to exchange it for a better set. Other than that it is adorable.

Tea party spoiled
April 9, 2013
I ordered this tea set from Pottery Barn because I assumed the quality would be excellent. I received the tea set defective. The silver finish as rubbed off "Matt" in a few places on the tea pot. It was second quality. I returned the set for another try and was promised a new delivery date. (one day prior to the gift date- shower). The product did not arrive and I was with out. It did arrive 5 days later and the second set sent was defective also. It had a couple small dents in the tea pot. I looked no more it see if the other pieces had issues as well. At that point it didn't matter. these products need to be inspected prior to shipping.

Rusted After One Use
February 6, 2013
Save your money and buy a nice porcelain set; this set rusted after my daughter let a tiny amount of water in it over night. It looks nice, but feels flimsy, and in my opinion not worth the money invested.

Christmas Disappointment
January 1, 2013
The monogram I requested for this came printed as initials which, of course, were not correct as the initial for the last name was printed in the middle. What a disappointment for my 5 yr old granddaughter, who most certainly knows the initials for her name. Of course it was my fault as I should have known that a monogram was not available because of the font that was available. Stupid me!

if it came with two matching tea cups and a spoon i would have been pleased with the set. it is cute though and my daughter loves it. it is not flimsy just not the best quality and you dont get a whole set. i still need two small tea cups and a tiny spoon to hold hot tea.

sadly disappointed
January 12, 2012
Definitely NOT pottery barn quality. Expensive.. $49 EACH..for what you get! Purchased 2 for birthday gifts. Sooooo disappointed by the quality. Looks and feels cheap. At first I thought they were made of plastic they were so flimsy! Both little girls 'love' to play tea..but I will return both sets as soon as I have a different gift. Item is worth 'maybe' $10.
