I bought this 5 years ago for my first son and just purchased one for this baby also. A little too pricey but very classy and I kept up with it every month and treasure it! ;)

We bought this as a gift for the grandparents when our daughter was 1 and it came out beautiful. It did take some time to sort through and crop photos to fit the small openings. I wish there was a similar school years one from pbk.

first year frame

I was surprised to see the name personalization on this item in gold lettering,since the frame and other writing on frame is silver. It doesn't really match. I am keeping it because I think it's a pretty frame and a great concept,but disappointed in the apperance of the name.

Beautiful frame for baby's room

My cousin had this in her baby's room, and I loved it so I ordered one for myself. One point I will make is that the openings are kinda small, so now I have to go back through ALL my photos and find ones that are small enough to fit. If you are an early planner and are buying this possibly before your baby is born, I would plan ahead and make sure you take photos that are "smaller" or farther away to ensure they will fit and not be cut off in the mat. Hope that makes sense!

The quality and craftmanship of this frame and mat are impressive. We had ours personalized and will cherish it throughout our lifetime. The price seems a bit high, but we feel the investment is worth it.

Beautiful picture frame! I purchased one 2 years ago for my little girl when she was born, and when we found out we were expecting again, the first thing we got was a frame for our little guy that is on the way! Great product, beautiful look. Highly recommend it!!

Have bought this for my daughter, daughter-in-law, and one of my husband's employee's. All of them have loved this wonderful gift. It is so much fun to look back at my grandchildren(their children) and see how they have changed.

Openings dimensions are incorrect

This is a gorgeous frame. We have one for each child. But the large opening is 5x7, not 4x6. The small openings are about 1 5/8 x 2 5/8, not 2x3. Keep this in mind when planning and ordering your pictures.

Love this frame, but please note the details say there is one 4 x 6 opening. I ordered a 4 x 6 picture, attempted to insert it and discovered my picture is too small. The opening actually measures 4 1/2 x 6 1/2. Please make sure you have a 5 x 7 photo for it.

personalization font color?

Love the frame, elegant and a nice size... not so sure the personalization color (goldish/orange) matches the frame, but with the pictures inside I am sure I won't notice the font color so much.

I have one of these frames for my daughter and I love it! So beautiful that I have purchased the frame 3 other times as gifts for baby showers- always personalized. I only once had an issue where a mat was smudged and had a few nicks in it. I called customer Svc and they promptly sent me a new personalized mat, NO Questions asked.
I've only had to deal with PB cust svc a few times over the years but each time they were overly helpful and so friendly.

Cute but scratched

This frame is really cute. Ours was scratched all around the borders when we opened it. We have decorated our entire nursery from PB Kids and while our Larkin furniture is beautiful, the rest of our items have been hit or miss. By the time we opened this frame to hang it and saw the flaws it was past the 30 days for returns. Be sure to pull out right away and check the frame once you purchase!

Nice product; bad presentation

I bought this for my friend's baby's 1st bday gift. I opened the box to make sure it was the correct spelling of his name and I was hoping to see the matt actually framed but it wasn't it was in a plastic bag with writing on the outside of the bag. I guess I was thinking since it was a gift the presentation could have been nicer. I'm hoping it's nice once it is put together.

this frame, mat & personalization looks lovely together. i believe everyone is just concerned with standing on top of the frame, but when you actually hang it and step back, it's very lovely.

Ordered this online with monogram before reading the reviews. Fortunately, I was able to cancel the order the next day after reading the reviews and reordered without the monogram.
Positive: Overall, frame has a classic and timeless look. The silver frame with silver lettering for the months gives it an elegant look. Delivery was fast, came with a sturdy box and packaged safely.
Negative: Sizes of pics indicated in item description are all wrong (agree with previous reviewer on the actual measurements). Cannot hang on wall unless you place wire/string yourself on the back
Suggestion: Order it without monogram and buy silver metal sticker letterings at Michaels and do it yourself - turned out really nice.

this frame is awesome. even my husband commented on how nice it is. i recommend printing photos in sepia (antique black and white-more brown) and it look really sharp! i cant wait to fill it up.

Second one didn't come with mat

We received this as a gift with my first child and love it. I purchased the frame for the our second and was thinking it would match. However, when we took it out of the box, the matting was not in there. Instead there was just a piece of paper with all of the months listed.....I'm hoping this is some kind of mistake and not a "new" version of the frame as I would have to paste the photos on. We plan on taking it back to see if we can swap it out as the box did describe it as containing the matting.

Nice, but order several at once

We purchased the frame for ourselves and both sets of grandparents for our two children (born 3 1/2 years apart). Although the photo slots were very narrow, we managed to crop our photos and have them fit nicely. We chose "Xxxx's First Year" as the personalization instead of full name. For first child, we sent back the product and had it redone because " 's " was left off. Years later, for second child, we also sent back and had it redone because the font used was different than first child's and the personalization was not centered (it looked awful). We now have both of ours displayed in our hallway and they match and look very nice. If you intend on purchasing multiple frames, I recommend getting them all at once to ensure matching font. For some reason, PBK changes their products from time to time; so if you want consistency, make the large purchase up front.
