Silver/Gold Long Tag Necklace

A sweet gift for Mother's Day, our keepsake necklace features one gold-filled pendant and one sterling silver pendant, each hand stamped with a special name and fastened to a shiny silver chain. All pieces are crafted of sterling silver and 14k gold fill. Charms can be hand stamped with any letter of the alphabet. Tags are hand punched and have a satin finish. Necklace is a 1.5mm round cable chain and uses a lobster clasp. If you choose two names that have 6 or 7 letters each, you will receive 2 of the longer tags. Presented in an elegant box that's ready to wrap and give. Hand crafted in the USA.

A little disapointed in this necklace. Got it for Mother's Day and while I love that my girls names are on it, the necklace itself is a bit cheap looking for the price. Also the chain is a bit short. Normally love Pottery Barn stuff but his was a disapointment.

Nice looking, but very flimsy

Nice looking, but I would offer 2 complaints.
1) I gave the necklace to my wife on Mother's day and it literally broke within 15 minutes. She reached above her head and the necklace snapped.
2) I have 3 children. The necklace has 2 tags. Much to my disappointment, the only way to get a 3rd tag is to order a second necklace with your third child's name and then take both necklaces to a jewelry shop and have one tag switched over to the other necklace. So what began as a $118 necklace is now $250+ with shipping and tax plus another $20 at a jewelry shop. So when the necklace broke after 15 minutes, you can imagine my frustration. In Pottery Barn's defense they offered a refund of 1 of the necklaces upon return of the broken necklace, but now I have to go back to the jewelry shop and have the tags put on the "un-broken" necklace and wait for it to break in a matter of days, then go purchase another more strudy necklace.
