Very pretty but I wish the personalization was done better. You can barely see what it says without looking very closely. Otherwise we love it!

Very Nice Keepsake

I love this little silver bird bank. Yes, the monogram is small; however, I feel if it was larger it would cheapen the item. It's perfect for my young daughter's nursery, adding a delicate, dainty touch. With the small font, I'm hoping this will be a piece she will keep for many years to come--something she won't outgrow. I chose to have her first and middle name and birth date monogramed rather than her first and last name. I'm very pleased with the selection. I only gave it four stars because it did have a scratch that I thought quality control should have picked up.

Small engraving

I bought this gift for a friend of mine's second child, as a nice keepsake. The bank itself is really nice. My only gripe is that the engraving is way too small. You can barely see it unless you know it's there.

Engraving was too small

The bank itself is lovely, but if you're going to engrave a name that is short (i.e. 3-4 characters), I would suggest adding a second line (maybe a birthdate, etc.) to make the engraving more substantial. The 3-letter name that I had engraved on the bank was barely visible. I had (incorrectly) assumed that the size of the font would be increased to compensate for the short name to be engraved, but this was not the case.

Bird bank is a nice size and weight. Decided to splurge with monogramming. . . and you need a magnifying glass to find the name and date on the side of bank as font is much too small! Proceed with caution if getting item monogrammed.

This item is very cute and good quality, but is way too small to be practical. This item is best suited as a decorative accent. We are looking for an actual bank, so the item was returned.
