So disappointed!

My 1 yr old and 4 yr old daughters LOVED this shopping cart, but unfortunately the wheels are very fragile. The first one that was shipped to us arrived with a snapped off wheel so we mailed it back and received a replacement. My girls played with the second one for less than a day when I discovered one of the wheels had shattered, leaving sharp plastic pieces throughout my house. I have many items from PBK and have never had a problem with the quality of any of my prior purchases. It is so disappointing because this shopping cart is so cute and my daughters loved it!

Perfect size for my 2.5 year old!!!

I (or should I say Santa) purchased this cart for my 2.5 year old daughter. Not only does she love it, I love how solid and sturdy it is! We have had playdates where we "byoc" (bring your own cart) and the kids play store together. The chalk board on the front is perfect to personalize!!!

Loads of fun!

We bought this for my 17 month old daughter as a Christmas present. Great for the parents because it's a "no assembly required" item. Great for small kids that can walk because it's easy to push and very realistic. We had also purchased some soft toy fruit and veggies along with other toy grocery items. She spent about 20 minuets straight loading and unloading the cart and pushing it around the living room.

chalkboard problem

Bought this for my granddaughter. My daughter says she likes it, but they couldn't get the chalkboard to attach. Sent away for a new one.

Shopping cart appeared to be of good quality and cute. Unfortunately, it arrived a few days before Christmas with a broken wheel, therefore I was not able to give it as a gift to my grand son. I ended up purchasing a competitors shopping cart at a local toy shop that was also made of metal and was equal in price and quality.

This is a beautiful (realistic-looking) shopping cart. The chalk board and the babydoll seat w/seatbelt are perfect.
I do agree, however, with the other reviewers who say that the handles are not raised high enough. True, the ad does provide the dimensions, but the recommendation says "Ages 3 and up". My daughter is 3 1/2, and she's 50 percentile in height. (Average middle of the road.)
I will not return the cart b/c my child does like it, but the low setting (and wheels) are the only annoying things about it. The wheels are like old computer table wheels. (Things the manufacturer might want to consider for future production..)
This cart would be a perfect fit for a 2 year old (or a smaller 3 year old), but seriously...that does not give toddlers much of a chance w/ it for very long at all.
I'd say that this cart should probably last my daughter out through the next season before she starts to become pretty much frustrated with the lower height.

Best play shopping cart!

This is the best shopping cart for kids and most realistic! Everyone (even parents) are in love with this little cart when they come over and see my son playing with it! Not sure what the others are talking about with the wheels - these are basically swivel wheels and GREAT! Haven't had any trouble with the handles, either. We actually take this cart and put it in the back of the car when going to the grocery store, and I take it out and let him push it through the grocery store, too!

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my 2 year old Granddaughter. She absolutely loved it. The first thing she did was put her baby in it & shopped all around the house. It was a total hit!

Cute but very small

This is the smallest shopping cart I have seen on the market. It is really cute for kids 3 and under and the quality is very good, but it is way too small for my 4 year old and I feel like i will have to buy something else when my 2 year old outgrows it. I would only recommend to someone with a 1 to early 2 year old that can get a few years of use out of it.

Precious but smaller than it appears. For toddlers up to 3years of age. The rubber handle keeps falling off, not sure what type of glue will adhere to rubber. Also the wheels are like the real shopping carts....not so easy to push around. A better design for toddlers would be swivel wheels. Would I spend that kind of money again..no, I would purchase a cheaper plastic model.

My daughter and son love this shopping cart. We've had it for over a year. It's a favorite and a sturdy toy. The down side would be the price but for the quality I think it's worth it.

Great for early walkers!

We gave this to our 11 month old daughter for Christmas and she loves it. It's the perfect height (and sturdy enough) for her to pull up on and walk around with. My daughter just loves putting her "groceries" in and out of the cart - we got the wooden breakfast set to go with it. We had bought a walker wagon and she much prefers this because she is able to turn it with ease, unlike her wagon. I had debated on whether to purchase this or a similar one from another company and after seeing both in person, I can say this one is far better.
The only reason it got 4 stars instead of 5 is because the wheels sometimes get stuck when swiveling, but are easily fixed.

good - better wheels needed

The shopping cart is sturdy and well made. My 2 year-old daughter does enjoy hauling it around. The cart would move much better if the wheels swiveled more freely. This is my second shopping cart, since the first one was damaged during shipping (which is not a reflection on quality, just Christmas shipping). The wheels just don't swivel as freely as they should for a child to manuever it and the problem was consistent on both carts. Age discription does say 3 and up, however, I still feel like the wheels could be improved for the money!

The wheels do not move easily and are oftentimes stuck in one direction. For the price and PB brand I expect a working product right out of the box.

The shopping cart is very durable and super cute. The little chalkboard on the back is a nice touch. My daughter loves to push her dolls around in it and "grocery shop." I wish it weren't quite so small, as I can tell she'll be too tall for it soon.

Great shopping cart

This cart is very sturdy. She loves it. It looks like a real supermarket cart. The only issue was the sign on the front. It was missing the screws to keep it on, but we took it off and it's fine without it.
