Cream Sherpa Anywhere Chair
We've covered our most popular chair in supersoft shearling for an irresistible seat that's perfect for reading, playing and snuggling. Regular: 28" wide x 22" deep x 22" high Slipcover is polyester sherpa. Insert is made in the USA with recyclable foam containing up to 30% soy-based materials. Chair is lightweight and has a handle for easy toting from room to room. Machine-washable slipcover zips off for cleaning.Replacement slipcovers are available for purchase below. Slipcover is imported.

sherpa chair

For the amount of money paid for the chair I expected it to come in one piece. But it came in 4 pieces and had to be put together, which isn's that much of an issue except when the current owner of the chair has to take off the slip cover to be washed then has to put the chair back together.

lacks form...shape

The fabric is very nice however when you assemble the chair, it has no form or structure. I have arranged the inserts (cushions) and I can not get them to lay "right". The chair looks like it is sloping towards the floor. For the price I think there should have been some wood framing the chair to help it keep it's form. Very disappointed.

Hard to clean

This chair looks beautiful initially, but gets very dirty and does not wash well. I have to buy regular replacement slipcovers now, because these do not hold up.

Awesome & Adorable

This chair is so awesome & adorable! My kids are 1.5 & 3.5, and they both love it. It makes their play room look like a mini Starbucks. It's sturdy with a high back so they can really roughhouse near it plus it's surprisingly spacious. The little one can grow into it an both kids lounge in it with a book or toys or both. I especially love the fabric and color - so plush and soft. Most of all, I love the fact I can throw it in the wash if needed. Fantastic!

We bought this chair for our grandson and it is wonderful. Love-love-love the chair and so does he. He snuggles up in it and giggles. A must have for any child.

I bought this for my 2 yr old daughter and she loves it! It is super soft with the Sherpa cover and I like that it can be removed for washing purposes. Great purchase! I would highly recommend

I thought this would have been a chair with some sort of structure, especially based on the price. The description keeps mentioning "inserts" but I had no idea there would not be a wooden frame. My chair does not keep it's shape well. The cushions are very stiff and the dimensions are awkward. Definitely not worth the price. The sherpa cover is the best thing about it.Would love to know where to buy a quality child's chair.

First of all... that Sherpa Lining...! Not a fan. At all! It's little fuzzies get all over everything and everywhere. It's soft and cuddly, yes, but I can't take the shedding! I even washed it first! My baby still puts everything into her mouth, so, this lining just isn't working for us... she eats the fuzzies!
Also, It was hard to zip and unzip the lining, the sherpa kept getting snagged.
Now, the chair! Maybe it's a user error but this lining does not fit the chair very good... At all? Somebody goofed, not sure if PB did or I did. The chair comes in four separate pieces that you must stuff inside the lining to build a chair. Good luck with that! : )
Dear Pottery Barn, don't you have that nice everydayvelvet fabric that you put on those nice little headboards and sofas? Or maybe something like, chenille if you want to get all fluffly and warm?

this fabric made the difference for my child

I have always had the anywhere chair insert with one of the bright pink covers which are really quite rough & uncomfortable. Just as I was getting ready to toss this ridiculously expensive & useless item in the trash I saw this cover in my local store. Yes, the zipper does snag, yes it does shed. I fixed that right away by using a lint roller repeatedly & a dog hair remover several times. Never thought it would stop shedding but it absolutely did! You just got to put the time in. My child never sat in the chair before. Now I can't get her out of it. She lies down sideways, lays over it, sleeps in it.....so glad I got this cover to salvage what would have been wasted money. Wish I had found this cover sooner. Great for children who have problems with "rough things touching their skin".

Wonderful chair for nursery!

I just received this chair for our nursery today. It is wonderful! The cover is so soft and plush. Be patient with the zipper, it does catch, but you just have to work your way around. The inserts fit very snugly. Overall, a great addition to the room and and go with any decor. Very pleased!

I bought this chair for my son's first birthday and I love how soft it is, but hate that it sheds. Has anyone else had a problem with this? If so, what did you do? Thanks!

Super Soft!

I love this chair! It is super soft and comfortable, and is large enough to last my one-year-old for years to come. The one small drawback with this chair is, that when you assemble it, the "fur" tends to get caught in the zipper making it a bit difficult to zip and unzip. But once it's all put together - it's fabulous!

My 7-year-old daughter already had an anywhere chair and hadn't sat in it much for some time. After I purchased this cover it is all she sits in everywhere in the house. She and my 2-year-old daughter fought over who sat in it..so I purchased another one for her. These have been some of the best purchases I've made. Buying the Sherpa cover completely rejuvenated our anywhere chair!!

I bought this chair for my daughter for Christmas and she loves it! I am so glad I went for this one over the regular canvas cover anywhere chairs, it is soooooo much nicer! Buy this one, you will LOVE it!
