My daughter looked forward to receiving this desk for weeks. Unfortunately, when it arrived, part of the desk was damaged and had to be replaced. Not a problem! PB Kids has great employees and was very gracious and efficient in getting me what we needed, reminding me that this is a first class company to shop from. The replacement arrived, and we are both very pleased! Like the other PB Kids furniture, the construction is solid and the finish immaculate. It is exactly what we wanted and we are both very satisfied, both with the product and PB Kids service.

Dimensions Wrong!

This item was discontinued and recently brought back to PBK as a "new item". I've had my eye on this desk for my kids and was so happy to see it back online. I noticed that the desk dimensions were smaller once it was relisted as a new item; 45" along each wall instead of 63" as it was previously listed. I was happy about that (it would fit much better in my space) and I ordered two desks for each of my kids....only to open the boxes and find that the dimensions are WRONG! It really is 63" along each wall....the only thing that is 45" is the corner segment of prefabricated desk wood...not the entire desk once it is put together and in place! What a dissappointment! I am going to have to return it and order the smaller corner desk from PBTeen or just get a standard desk instead of a corner desk. I am sadly dissappointed since I love this piece of furniture. If you have the space, then I'd recommend it. Otherwise, BEWARE the wrong dimensions!!!

Solid desk!

This desk arrived in 3 boxes, beautifully packaged without a scratch on it. Went together easily, with all the tools included in the box. We had to return it because it was a little too big for our space, and Pottery Barn made it so easy to process the return. Beautiful desk!

Pretty but not functional

I love the look of all Pottery Barn furniture and this desk is not exception. I bought this when my son was about 8 and it worked great to hold a his coloring books, lego instruction, gadgets, computer and DS games. However now that he is headed to middle school and I need to set it up to hold files the large drawers do not fit any size hanging file folders. It comes with the metal bars and holes notched out for them, but when I went to set up the desk to use the file folders they did not fit. I tried standard size and legal. Standard is WAY too short and legal is too long. So if you want this for organization and function this desk is not right for you. I would recommend the similar desk out of the regular Pottery Barn catalog. I have that one for my own office and it is works great.
