This musical jewelry box has all the special touches she'll love - a twirling ballerina, heart-shaped mirror and velvet lining. 5" square, 4" high Made of patterned decoupage cardboard with a brushed-pewter clasp. Lined with flocked fabric. Comes with a mirror and a ballerina that twirls to Swan Lake.

Cute Toy Jewelry Box , Low Price

Though this is a very cute and inexpensive box for a little girl, it is made of a stiff cardboard material (not wood) and wrapped in decorative paper, so it should not be expected to last a very long time. I purchased the aqua floral box as a Christmas gift for my 3 year-old daughter, who started ballet this year. Considering the material, it appears to be sturdy and well-made, but I decided to reinforce some of the paper edges and corners with a little smear of glue, just in case. The clasp is pretty, and the little drawer and heart-shaped mirror are nice touches. There is a wind-up mechanism on the back that plays music (sound is good), and the box comes with 2 ballerinas: one light and one dark skin/hair, your choice. I expect my daughter to absolutely love this box, but she is very young and will likely destroy it before next year. When she is older I will buy her a higher quality jewelry box, but for now this will be a fun container for all her special little toy things.

Perfect for the young girl

We purchased one of these for Christmas a few years back for my then 5 year old daughter. It has held up really well. The ballerina still spins and it plays music. aIt has been through some abuse and has no marks on it that I can tell, except some coloring my 2 year old did. :( It is perfect for a young girl who wants the girly little jewlery box for little treasures, etc. The price is perfect for this sort of item. She's 7 now and still loves it.
