in my 4 year old's words: "Awesome!"
February 18, 2013
My son loves this large T-rex! we have had for 3 months now and a few pieces have fallen from the mouth area but simply placed back. It has the look of a hand-built toy which i love this character and looks stylish in his room. It may seem flimsy, but i feel that this allows it to be flexible instead of rigid so that the pieces do not snap apart which is great when my 9 month old son gets a hold of it. i love how it can respond automatically to sounds and light. the remote is simple enough for 4 year old to use with ease. he has fun for hours and is the first toy he brings out for guests to show off!

Too fragile

Our son got the t Rex for christmas. He loves it but unfortunately it started falling apart the very first time he used it. More pieces fall off every time he plays with it.

Santa disappoints
January 3, 2013
Saw terrible reviews, chose to hope they weren't true when they went on christmas + free shipping sale, but they are awful. They do nothing at all, barely move (even after gluing gripper pads to their feet),don't respond to remotes, & fall apart. Worthless product. At least the trex roars, the triceratops is a complete waste

dino dud
January 6, 2012
to our dismay the dino was delivered to us with a part out of place. interesting enough, it still worked nicely and we thought it was quite something a real cool dino. then..the tail fell off and i realized that the piece i noticed in the box was part of the missing tail. i then read reviews and saw i was not the only person this happened to. we bought this gift for our grandchild for the holidays. what a disappointment. potterybarn kids was very nice and returned it without any problem. we did take the chance to order the triceratops, only because it is a very cleaver piece of movement for children to watch. we hope all works out.

Not worth the money
January 1, 2012
I was greatly disappointed with this dinosaur. We got the T-Rex for my 5 yr old for Christmas. It is a wooden dinosaur, but not constructed very well. The "roar" is ok, but when walking, it waddles like a duck! Most of the time it just turns in circles. The $1 tin wind-up robots he has walk faster and farther than this thing does. The toy is flimsy and does not work well. Definitely not worth the hefty price!

Not a good investment

While the animatronics are sufficient, the manufacture of the product is less than acceptible. My husband and I have put the dinosaurs bones back in place enough times that they are now just all over the house and we cannot even find the piece that held his tail on. . .
