Boys' Rugby Stripe Rug
Bold colors in alternating stripes create the look of a traditional rugby shirt. Shedding of loose fibers is normal and is a natural result of the process used to create our high-quality handmade wool rugs. With regular vacuuming and proper care, the shedding will diminish. Great Rug

I've had this rug (blue and green) in my son's room for almost 4 years. I've never had any problems with it. It has never shed for me, and is very high quality. I would recommend this rug, in fact, I'm thinking about buying the red and navy one for my new baby's room.

Love This Rug!

I have purchased several Pottery Barn/Pottery Barn Kids rugs over the years, and this one is the highest quality by far. It is soft and thick, and it has shed less than most. After a couple of years, it is still in excellent condition ~ it looks brand new! This was one of my best purchases.

Too much shedding

Same as others, rug feels and looks great but the shedding is crazy. I even found threads on top of my stove! I am constantly cleaning. I will keep vacuuming hoping it gets better.

Cute Rug!

I bought the blue and green rug about a year ago and the colors are vibrant and it is super cute!! We vaccum it a couple times a week and it looks great with minimal shedding. I am considerig purchasing the red and blue one for the play room!
I would recommend but you need to vacuum on occasion :)

Great for boy's room

The rug is very soft and looks great in my son's room. My only complaint is anything and everything shows up on it. Such as dust, cat hair, etc. However, I am very happy with this purchase.

Not Kid Friendly and Messy

I love the way this rug looked in my son's room - we've had it now for nearly 4 years. It was the perfect rug. However, it sheds like crazy, and by sheddings it's like having another animal - blue fuzz accumulates everywhere in and out of his room, it's very hard to vaccum w/o getting the loops caught and therefore unlooped, and for the price it doesn't wear so well. We've had a few accidents on it during potty training and fortunately it cleaned well with my spotbot - but overall it's annoying.

cute rug

This rug looks super cute in my son's room. We do have to vacuum a lot but it does help me get the vacuum out more! Our daughter's rug from PBK use to do the same thing but it's no longer an issue. I assume this rug will eventually settle down as well.

Great boy's rug

This is a great rug for a boy's room. Soft, durable, great colors. It is our second one (the first was destroyed in an accident, but we liked it so much we just replaced it with the idenical product). Recommend it highly.

Frustrated by the Fuzz

I have always been a huge fan of Pottery Barn Kids items and bought two of these rugs for my kids' rooms - pink and green for my daughter and red and navy for my son. I was thrilled when they arrived and even two years later I love how they look in their respective bedrooms. They are so nice and soft and feel great underfoot. HOWEVER, I am so frustrated that I am constantly (yes, constantly!!!!) picking up red, blue and pink fuzz balls off the hardwood floors throughout the whole house. No matter how much we vaccum, this problem never goes away. We've bought other area rugs from PB in the past and never had this issue. I'm sad to say I'm going to have to replace them because I just can't live with the mess.

a great look

I bought the 8x10 carpet for my son's playroom and I am so pleased with it. It's so plush which makes it great for little kids to play on. Yes, it does shed but after a while, it doesn't shed as much. So if you don't mind vacuuming a little in the beginning, then this is the carpet for you!

This rug matches our "nautical" nursery perfectly. Unfortunately, it sheds constantly. No matter how much we vacuum it, fuzz balls continue to get tracked throughout the house. It's really a shame.

I've had this rug for two years and it still sheds unbelievably - red fuzz everywhere in the room within a couple of days of vacuuming. Colors are adorable and as pictured, but I question the materials. I have other, high-quality wool rugs that simply don't shed this way and never have.

Sheds like mad and easily pulls out

Like the other reviewers said, it just continues to shed like crazy. I can vacuum for hours and it still sheds. Also,the loops easily pull out so it's starting to look ratty after 6 months of use. I would expect an expensive rug like this to last with out piling and pulling. I've had better luck with a simple rag rug.

This rug arrived and I loved how
thick it was, color was nice and
worked with my room well.
That is where the happiness ends, I have had this item for
about 5 months, it continues to
shed, I have vacuumed and
vacuumed and still there are navy lint balls everywhere!
I am looking to replace it soon.

Shedding rug

This rug is well made and is nice and cushy. BUT it sheds like mad. We have red and blue (sometimes purple) fuzz everywhere and it has been about 3 months. Not sure when it stops shedding if ever?
