Not what I was expecting.
March 13, 2013
I was really excited to get this sconce. It looks so beautiful in the catalog pictures and on the site as well. I purchased a pair to decorate my baby girl's nursery and was really surprised with the ugly cord that is attached to it. Not to mention the pink on the shade isn't soft as displayed in the pictures. It is in fact a little darker. But what really ruined for me was the cord. I was really disappointed with that. I think the pictures on both the site and the catalog are not showing the product the way it actually is.

Misleading Photo
August 21, 2012
I purchased this sconce because it looked so pretty and was just the right style for the room I was designing. When it arrived, I was surprised to see that it came with a clear cord and a plug. NONE of the photos show the cord hanging down from the base. (The description does mention "clear cord" and "plug," but even though I read it, my brain must have passed over those words because I was so captivated by the pretty photo.) When I had looked at the pictures online prior to purchasing, I thought that this sconce could be installed onto the wall with the electrical wires hidden from view. However, even my husband (who is fairly handy with these things) cannot pull off such a feat of wiring. So now I have to use the sconce with the clear cord dangling down from the base and plugged into an electrical outlet. That part is pretty ugly and cheapens the whole effect of the sconce and shade.
