Princess and the Pea Dolls
The comical tale of The Princess and the Pea has amused children for generations and was the inspiration behind our exclusive dolls. Both feature extra-long, skinny limbs, an embroidered face and a sweet outfit. 14" wide x 4" deep x 30" high Made of soft linen and cotton jersey with embroidered faces and braided yarn hair. Dresses are sewn from a medley of fabrics including velvet, felt, percale and ribbon. Ages 2 and up.

Great Doll

My daughter saw this doll in the catalog and wanted it so bad. My husband went to the mall today and bought it for her as a Valentines Day gift. I was surprised at how big the doll is in real life, which is a good thing. Its nicely made, and the dress is beautiful and detailed. So soft too. I know my daughter will love her. After she grows out of playing with her, she will be beautiful on a shelf, dresser, etc.

Our Granddaughter has outgrown dolls, but this doll sent a message. She absolutely loves it. There is a special chair beside her bed to remind her that she will always be our princess and can endure almost anything.

Got this for my daughters first birthday, monogrammed her name on the front dress and it was so sweet. Legs and arms are the perfect size to hold and drag around with my little. Everything is soft so it's great for her bed to sleep with as nothing will her her.

I love this doll. It is very cute, has a simple design that adds so much beauty to this doll, not to mention it is great for decoration of a baby girl's nursery as well. I am very pleased with it and already purchased another one.

stiff and poorly made

These dolls are stiff, fabric is white and poorly stuffed. Very disappointing. They are much bigger than they look in the pictures, and if i saw them true-to -life, i would not have purchased them for a 3 and 4 year old. They are almost as tall as the children. Disappointed.

Santa had this doll embroidered and delivered to my 20 month old daughter. She sits at the tea table to keep my daughter company and is a perfect addition to her room.

Sweet doll, but disapointed

I purchased the dark haired princess doll for my little granddaughter for Christmas. I was very impressed with the quality of the doll. I had it embroidered with my granddaughter's name. It turned out beautiful, but was disapointed that there was some grease spots on various places on the doll's dress. Probably from the embroidery machine. I did not bring it to Pottery Barn's attention because I had ordered it too close to Christmas, and I really wanted to give her the doll. Please be careful, Pottery Barn... looked great, but a little disapointed that you didn't catch the grease. It was pretty obvious.

Christmas gift!

My three year old daughter saw this on the PBK catalog and couldn't stop asking for it. I was done Christmas shopping, but being she was so in love with it. I just had to buy it. The quality and look of doll is excellent. I can't wait until she opens that box! I strongly recommend it.

Snagged Hait

Ordered this online as a gift and when I received it a strand of the yarn hair was badly snagged and impossible to fix without undoing the entire hair wich I was afraid would just ruin it more. The item looks like I recieved a return item because the tag was also partially ripped off. I would be embarassed to give this as a gift. Otherwise it would have been a cute doll. The rest of the construction of the doll seemed good quality.

I spotted this doll online and thought that it would match my daughter's room perfectly so I ordered it. I was pleasantly surprised when I received it. It's a nice size and the craftsmanship is beautiful! I highly recommended for any little girl :)

Very Adorable

I couldn't decide which color to buy so I purchased one of each for my daughters. A good size, beautiful dresses. We cannot wait to play with them for pretend tea parties. I gave them 4 stars since they seem to be good quality, but they are their Christmas present, so we haven't seen how they will hold up to normal play.

The dolls are adorable and my two little granddaughters loved them!!! They arrived in perfect condition and once they came off back order, they arrived very quickly. Made two little girls very happy.

Beautiful Dolls

I bought this doll for my daughter and it is beautiful! My daughter is 2 so it's almost as tall as she is but she loves dancing around with her "princess ballerina". It's a great doll to decorate with as well, you can place her in a chair or on a shelf in a little girls' room-perfect!

Made for a Princess

These dolls are too adorable. In order to personalize them to each little princess for whom they are purchased, I do wish they could be ordered by hair color and dress color seperately. They fit well into the large Easter basket just waiting for a big hug from a little princess.

I got this for my daughter for her 2nd birthday. She loves dolls and has a ton of dolls with the "newborn" or baby look. She absolutely fell in love with this doll and sleeps with her everynight.
