Bad Quality & Terrible Value

I am extremely disappointed in this purchase. This product is bad quality and a terrible value. The book pages were glued to the cover unevenly so the spine is not straight. Additionally, the only personalized parts of the book are the cover and 1 page.

very poor quality

Ordered for Christmas gift, very poor quality in binding and only says name on front of book. Definitely not worth $44.oo. Looked like a $10.00 book.

Lovely story

I really like the story the cover is very cute. I think the actual book itself wasn't put together very well. It looks like it was done in a hurry and the cover doesn't match the back cover. The pages aren't attached to the cover like they should.

A bedtime favorite

We bought this for our second daughter because our oldest's name can be found on everything, including a large selection of books, while our youngest's name is rare. I also LOVE Karen Katz and already have a collection of her books, and this one just fits in beautifully! Zella, now 12 months, loves to hear us "call her by her real name" and even our 3-year-old can recite it to her. Well worth the price for her to have something all her own!

Personalized Story Book

I purchased this book for my grand- daughter for her 1st birthday. The illustrations were lovely & the story very sweet. Her name is Monroe & she is our princess. Just like the story, we have many endearing names for her. Her mom & dad loved it as well. I know it will be a keepsake!

Disappointed

I recently ordered "Who Loves Me" for my nephew - fantastic, his name was everywhere, I was able to enter other family member names which appeared throughout the book - it was truly "personalized" for him.
So I was very disappointed that I paid $44 for this book , and my niece's name on the cover and at the end and that is basically it. I wouldn't call her name "part of the story".

The book was cute, but was disappointed to find that only one time was the child's name mentioned in the book....Not a good bargain - a little pricey considering the name is only once. Would not recommend.

Love it, but a couple of suggestions

My daughter's first birthday isn't for four months, but I bought one of these now, mostly because I was ordering some other items and figured I would save having to pay shipping twice. I love it; it is so special and pretty. It will look adorable with all of her bday presents, and serve as a fun book and keepsake for her. She gets a Karen Katz book for every holiday right now, so this is a perfect 1st bday treat! 2 criticisms: (1) Why nothing for boys? I'd love to give a boy version to my nephew as a gift! and (2) I wish it was "Queen" instead. I feel that the "princess" message girls get these days is very un-empowering, but a Queen would set a similar, but more powerful tone. (Queens actually have power and rule, whereas princesses do not.)

Perfect gift for newborn

I love this book. I have a baby in the NICU, and I love holding her and reading this book to her. It's rather expensive in my opinion for the size, but will be a perfect keepsake for her for years to come. The story is very sweet, and I especially love all the cute little pet names the book has introduced me to. I have begun calling my Lily, my little gumdrop. It's a great book if you are looking for something unique to treasure for your baby girl years to come.

Awesome Personalized Book

We ordered this as a 1st Hanukkah gift for our friend's baby girl. It arrived before schedule and was very well made. The printing of her name in every location within the book did not look like it was printed over an existing book but rather printed at the same time as the whole book. The story is adorable and the illustration was very vivid in color to capture the attention of a small child.
