Plush Drummer Boy Ornament
Our plush ornaments are carefully crafted with the artful details that turn an ordinary ornament into a family heirloom. With their knit hats and puffy earmuffs, colorful drums and fur-lined boots, our drummer boys bring special character to the tree. 3.5" wide x 12" high; 4" ribbon Expertly handcrafted of a medley of fabrics including microfelt, microsherpa, polyester fur, nylon mesh, yarn and printed cotton percale. Drummer boy carries a polyester felt and cotton percale drum. Velvet hanging ribbon is included.

Not like before...

For years we've collected PBK Plush Ornaments but now they are Not the same. Now they are not the high quality we loved! The materials are not what they used to be! Even the fur (by boots) is skimpy and it arrived with little fur pieces all over the body. The thin drumsticks look like they will snap soon and they are barely attached (just held on by 1 thread!) We used to love these- they are a nice noticeable size, although not a toy, these are the ornaments we put towards the bottom of the tree since they are soft so that if the kids touch or bump them there's no worry of breakage or injury.
PBK- please use the better quality materials like you used to!

Cute, but not entirely as expected

This little ornament is super cute, and I bought it for my son to go along with the doll ornament I bought his sister. It is nice, but note that is FAR bigger than it appears in the picture or one might expect from a christmas tree "ornament". If you read the fine print (which I did not), the ornament is 12" long, which is the size of my daughter's baby dolls. Both this drummer and the corresponding doll ornament are bigger than anything I would normally put on our tree, so I may decide to use them as another type of decoration instead. Also, given that the doll ornament can be personalized, I found it disappointing that the boy-equivalent offered no personalization option. I find Pottery Barn Kids is often unfair in its personalization selection for boys and girls. The drummer could have featured a scarf or something that could be easily machine personalized. I'll be taking the ornament elsewhere for personalization or stitching it on myself. :(
