Penelope Nursery Bedding
Rows of tiny yellow, pink and green birdies are accented with dainty stripes on our Penelope Nursery Bedding. The strip-pieced quilt and bumper are artfully sewn with appliqued birds, embroidered vines, yarn-dyed, dobby stripe and chambray cotton fabrics in a fresh, vertical design. Pure cotton. Quilt, bumper and sham are expertly quilted by hand and edged with pink piping. Appliqued with charming birds in preppy shades perched upon embroidered branches. Quilt reverses to a large green dot print and features a pole pocket for easy display; pure cotton fill. Pleated cotton crib skirt is tailored with dobby trim. Tiny pink, yellow and green birds are printed in rows across the fitted crib sheet. Fitted crib sheet is pure cotton percale interwoven with organic cotton fibers; Oeko-Tex certified. An Easy-Care finish makes this fitted crib sheet smooth and soft right out of the dryer. Nursery Bumper Bedding Set includes fitted crib sheet, bumper and crib skirt. Nursery Quilt Bedding Set includes fitted crib sheet, toddler quilt and crib skirt. Image provided (left) shows bumper's distinct exterior pattern; always fasten securely with exterior facing outward. Personalization is available for an additional $7.00. Machine wash. Imported.

I loved this bedding the minute I saw it. I have all the pices and absolutely love it. The only drawback is I was a first time mom and paid the $99 for the bumper and of course later found you aren't suppose to you then. Somewhat annoyed that PBK sells them when all dr's will tell you NOT to use. I loved it so much, that when I had a second girl, I used the same set again. The sheets hold up VERY well. I bought a new one for my baby, but the other 2 are still in good shape and are SUPER soft. Just love. And they added the decals for the walls so I bought them for this baby. And we have the stroller blanket, too. And of course her Anywhere chair looks adorable, and she has the canvas tote with her name on it. Everyone just loves her room!! My toddler has the Daisy set, and we absolutely love that one, too!

Great quality but a little disappointed..

I am overall very happy with my purchase however a little disappointed after reading some of the other reviews posted about the recent changes to the bumper. The bumper I purchased in-store a few weeks ago is white on the inside not green like the online image. I'm not sure why there is so much inconsistency with this product but if you are really keen on having a bit of color on the inside of the bumper make sure to check the item before you buy.

Cute and bumper now has color

I am having a girl and wanted bedding with some pink but more green and yellow. This is cute and colorful and I like the whimsical birds.
I expected the inside of the bumper to be white based on the previous reviews. PB must have listened because the inside of my bumper is covered in one of the green fabrics from the front. It still has the 2 little birds in the corner. I would have been fine with white but the green is nice too.

Quilt, Sham, Stroller Blanket

I purchased just the green combo Penolope quilt and sham to use as an in-between washings set. It coordinates beautifully with the Brooke and Molly sets. As always, I'm pleased with the PBK quality. Love the stroller blanket! Thick, arm, and soft.

3 years later, I still LOVE it and I change my mind easy :-) Used it all for our first daughter and with a new baby, using it again since I still love it so much. Just ordered new sheets, etc. Quilt is great, but my only gripe is that the bed skirt isn't really made for a crib, it hangs werid but it's not a big deal....Looks great!!!

Great quality

I bought this bedding set over 2 years ago and it has held up well. My only complaint is the bumper is white on one side, which doesn't add much to the room decor assuming you turn the colorful side inward for your child to see. One other small drawback is the ties on the bumper could be longer, and you have to be careful not to pull too hard on them when you tie them tightly or they will rip off the fabric (even though they are sown on very well). Overall I am very happy with this set.

embroidery disappointment

The sham was very disappointing because they embroidered light pink name on the light pink part of the pillow. The example online was in chocolate so I thought I would contrast. I spent extra $ for a name you can barely see and that is because I know it is there. Other than that the bedding is extremely adorable and seems to be well made so far.

We bought this quilt almost 3 years ago and it's still in perfect shape-I can't count how many times I have machine washed it. I love it. Since we've had it for so long, we have used it with many other PBK products-it matches everything.

This is my favorite quilt

I bought just the quilt when my daughter was still an infant. She's now 20 months, and we have since purchased the sham for her toddler bed. She still loves it, and the quilt has held up well with wash and wear. The birds are adorable and the colors are great. We just bought the toddler pink gingham sheets and it looks great together. Very happy with this purchase. Like other reviewers have mentioned, it goes well with other product lines from pottery barn kids.

We were also matching this to some bedding on a daybed . Great choices are available. The toddler quilt looks great hung on the wall using the pocket on the back.

I just bought this set two months ago and I love it!! It washes very well and is so cute. I painted the walls the Benjamin Moore paint sweet taffy and also got the hot pink oval rug and hot pink sail cloth panels from Pottery Barn Kids. About the bumper--I love that it is white on one side. The bedding is busy and with the sheets being busy too the white bumper looks great! I have the Larkin crib from PB and at first I thought it would overlap but after moving it around a few times it fits perfect no overlapping. I can also see the two cute birds on the bumper. Also The crib skirt you do have to move it back some to see, but it takes 5 seconds and looks great. This bedding goes so well with many colors-yellow, green, white, and pinks. I also used the Hailey wall decals-I highly recommend. This bedding is so soft and great! I love it!!!

Agree about bumper but otherwise love!

We have had this bedding since our daughter was born and it has been through many washes and comes out fabulously. I love the girly but not prissy colours and pattern. I agree with the commenter though, about the one sided bumper pad. The other side does have pale green dots on it but I was disappointed that the pattern wasn't more cute. (A friend purchased the boy monkey bedding and both sides of the bumper pad are adorable, I was expecting something like this). However, I would absolutely still recommend this bedding for the look and quality.

We've had this bedding since my now 20 month-old daughter was a newborn. It has held up beautifully, and we will continue to use it for her toddler bed. Coordinates easily with other products sold by Pottery Barn Kids.

One sided Pattern- Bumper Pad

I ordered this for my granddaughter since her mom liked this pattern. I am very disappointed to find there is only a pattern on one side. This is not what I would expect of Pottery Barn and with the price I paid. Even a $20.00 bumper pad has double sided patterns.

This bedding is adorable. Works great out our daughters new toddler bed. The material is soft and way better then the bedding I got at another big chain store. I LOVE this bedding.

My new Big Girls Bed

I bought this quilt and sham for my two year old who sleeps in a convertible crib (one side has been removed). I love the stitching and details on both the quilt and the sham and the colors are perfect for my little girl who loves the outdoors. The pink stripe seems brighter than in the picture and since I prefer the green colors, I tuck the pink side between the crib and the mattress : )

I love this crib bedding set. We like that it goes with so many different colors and patterns. It is very high quality. I was disappointed that one side of the bumper is solid white and wish that a matching curtain was available. We bought the pink polka dot rug, which matches really well.

Love the colors, patterns, and birds! I love the crib skirt put had to rig it a little show it would show in our Baby's Dream crib. Would have given it 5 *s but the bumper is white on one side with 2 tiny birds which is hard to tell based on the pictures on the website - a little boring. We painted the room in "sweet taffy" by benjamin moore and it looks great with the bedding!

We picked out the Penelope Nursery Bedding set for our little girl. We love that it isn't the standard pink floral number we saw everywhere else, and my husband loved that it wasn't overwhelmingly pink. We chose to paint the walls with Stem Green (Benjamin Moore) and have a really vibrant, fun room for our daughter to enjoy. With the stripes, polka dots, and birdies, there really are a lot of directions you can take with this set. Love it!

Adorable But I Can See Why...

...there would be some complaints.
Everything is made with quality but the bumper pad is white on one side, which is fine - I have it facing outward...the two cute little birds on it can't be seen because they land behind the slats on one end of the crib.
The crib skirt is almost useless since I cannot even see the adorable stripes - it lands right in line with the crib (Which is also PB Kids) -- in fact, one side of the skirt had to be folded in because there is no place for it to hang out. I contemplated returning it but figured I'd keep it for the toddler bed at the very least.
It certainly is adorable however I would not run out to get the skirt if your crib is going to hide it...otherwise, the colors, stitching and more is exactly as shown and cute as a button (or bird!)
