Peacock Costume
Layers of colored felt, shimmering tulle and cozy fleece create a costume your child will be proud as a peacock to wear. It's as big on comfort as it is on style and can be worn over other clothing for warmth. Sizes 12-24 months, 2T-3T or 4-6 years. See size chart. Three-dimensional costume is stuffed with polyester padding and sewn of fleece with polycotton lining for warmth and comfort. Wings are sewn of polyester fleece and tulle. A separate lined polyester felt headpiece is designed to make it easy for kids to see. Bodysuit and headpiece have Velcro closure so costume is easy to put on and take off. Undergarments not included. Spot clean. Imported.

Peacock Costume

We bought this for our 2.5 year old. We have bought costumes from Pottery Barn in the past. This year we struck out twice. The head piece was a necessary part of the costume. It would not stay on her head even with bobby pins. We ended up using another costume because without the headpiece the costume was not recognizable.

I'd give zero star if I could.
The costume looked adorable and purchased for my 2yr daughter. the material seems to be fine but the headpiece. I wonder if PB has ever tried to fit it on child's head before/after manufacturing. It doesn't fit at all. It is not a hat. It won't stay on head and falls off. Poor design. Without the headpiece, costume doesn't look like a peacock. My daughter was really annoyed with it and she refused to wear it after trying it on once. Waste of money....

High hopes but let down

I was sooo excited to order my daughter's first PB Halloween costume because I have been so pleased with most everything PB. The colors in the costume are beautiful, but that's it. I have spent way too much time and money trying to make this costume better on top of spending a fortune for the actual item in the first place. The headpiece cannot be worn; it is painful and won't stay on. Without it, no one can tell what my daughter is dressed as. The stitching on the velcro is coming off the bodysuit, so every time she wears it, it gets looser and looser.
SOOOO very disappointed in this product! I will look elsewhere for her costume next year. Definitely NOT recommended!

Cute costume, poor fit

The thing that makes this costume is the headpiece which is really poorly made. There's filling in the headpiece that bulges out so it doesn't stay put on the child's head. Really unfortunate craftsmanship since the costume has potential to be adorable.

Headpeice topheavy

I bought this costume for my daughter. Ive already had to fix most of it. The hat is soo topheavy and does not stay on her head. If she moves slightly it will fall off. i had to sew a headband on the peacock to try and hold it in place, it works a little better but she still has to hold it if shes bending over. Than the sequince ripped. i had to tape that. It wasnt worth the money i spent on it and wouldnt recomened it.
