So sad for the quality

I guess I assumed that pottery barn would only carry quality dolls and toys but I was wrong.
The dolls are under stuffed and have hardly any hair which leaves bald spots on the heads.The yarn is poor quality, For the price, I was expecting a much higher quality than a doll I could have bought at any local big chain store. I am very disappointed and sadly will be returning the two that I purchased.
The only reason for giving 2 stars is they are a nice size and do have cute looking clothes

Lacking hair

The doll is precious and my daughter loves it, but I am really disappointed in the quality of the product for its price and for PBK standards. Not as pictured, the hair does not cover the entire head and you can see the underlying brown scalp. Besides the yarn hair, I have no other complaints.

Bought this doll for my niece. It is precisely what I wanted for her first doll. Soft and well made. The hair style is a little fancy but the doll is beautiful and looks like it will hold up well. If it wasn't for seeing the doll loose in the store with a stroller though, I may not have picked up the box. Needs a window box! Love it and she loves it!!! Thanks

We have Tessa and Aubrey from the old line. My daughter got Tessa for Christmas from her grandparents because she is crazy about Aubrey. The new line is much lower quality. Tessa's hair looks terrible. It is really thin and doesn't cover the head very well. The fact that these aren't moldable since they don't have an internal wire takes away some of the play factor as well. I usually really like pottery barn toys but I am very disappointed by the quality of this toy.

I purchased the Tessa doll and it looks very cheap... I
The quality is not up to pottery barn standard. It looks like a 10.00 doll. I'm keeping it because I don't feel like returning!

problems with the yarn on head

I bought the Reese and Tessa for my girls. The Reese dolls yarn hair is very secure to the head. The Tessa doll actually has a 'bump' for bangs. It is not flat against the head as pictured. A simple glide of my hand over the head and the yarn came away from the head. Kinda dissappointed for the price. I returned it and bought another hoping the first was a defect. nope. I'd like to return this one also but I can't have one daughter without a doll.
