This is nice- not spectacular, but I do like it. I think it is the bright aqua trim that takes away from it, but other than that, it is fine!
I am happy that this is Not Hardwired- exactly what I was looking for! Contrary to 1st reviewers thoughts, Yes some people Do want plug-in! Sometimes there is a certain spot in a room where you want light but it is not already hardwired, so this is a nice quick easy solution! And for me this is just a temporary light until I redecorate again and this may not be wanted then.
Regardless, reading the description, it is clear that this is plug-in, Not hardwired!

Careful! Not hardwired!

Love the shade, it is adorable. I ordered it along with the light, assuming that based on the pictures, this is a hardwireded fixture. Nope. Plug in. Not sure why PB thinks anyone would want to hang a light fixture in the middle of a room (from the ceiling) and run the plug along to an outlet. Going to try and find a light fixture that this shade will work with.. already checked with PB kids, and they said they did not have one :( bummer, I really love the shade.
