Madras Shades
A colorful criss-cross of thick and thin stripes adds the warmth and charm of madrasi checks to our cotton percale shade. Shade is crafted of cotton percale with a polyester lining. Yarn dyed for vibrant, lasting color. All our shades are designed with an UNO fitter for securing shade to base. Green and Blue/Brown are Catalog / Internet only.

Great lamp - for my son's room!

I love this lamp and shade. The shade (we have the green) matches the green madras quilt (with dino shams) perfectly and looks great in the room. The base is very attractive as well. Both are great quality as well.

Lamp Base awesome-Shade not so much

I bought this set for my 3 year old's new room. The touch lamp base is amazing. It is very nice and great that he can easily turn it on and off. I have the navy madras bedding for his beds and I had hoped that the shade would coordinate nicely. It didn't. It is not the same navy madras as the bedding. In fact, it is not madras at all, more navy plaid. I actually returned it and purchased the light blue shade and it looks great.

Lamps look perfect in the nursery

I purchased two Madras Shades in the blue/brown for our baby boy's nursery. We had purchased the Kingston bedding and took the chance that the shades would match the plaid on the bedding and they did! We are very pleased with the size of the shades and how they fit on the lamp base. We are excited for our little bundle to arrive and be at home in his Pottery Barn Kids room!

I bought this lamp shade for the depot lamp, because pottery barn shades are the only shades that fit their kids lamp perfectly and I did not want the red shade that came with it. The Madras shade does fit the depot lamp perfectly and it looks exactly as pictured. I feel it was a little overpriced for a lamp shade especially after spending $70 on the lamp base (hence the 4 stars) and it is a little larger then I anticipated but looks great in my sons nursery!!
