Madison 4-Shelf Bookrack
Designed to hold books face forward, this rack makes it easy for kids to choose what they want to read. 23.5" wide x 5.5" deep x 57.5" high Built of kiln-dried solid hardwood. Mounting hardware secures the rack to the wall for added safety. Our exclusive finishes are applied by hand for exceptional richness, durability and depth of color. I was never so pleased with a purchase such as this one.
Came very fast- well packaged.

Husband was a Quality Control Manager, ASQC for a Major Corporation, now retired .
Here's what Impressed him.
Easy Directions to follow- written in GOOD ENGLISH!! ( not Chinese English!)
THe shipping Box had a red ribbon attached on the outside of the box- this indicates that the Hardware is contained in the box shipped
THe Hardware was in a sheet where each section of hardware was sectioned off and image of piece shone-my goodness what a time saver!
Whoever this company you order from- KEEP THEM - this all costs a little more but it tell me- YOU CUSTOMERS- ARE WORTH IT- THANKS, so much,

The Wood and finish is top rate- actually this is shone for a kids room- I have it in my Den- to display those pretty Books I have, plus pictures, plus Magazines, and even a Grandchild's book or to,

I sent this to a new mom who registered for it and included a note for the gift card WITH our names. The note was sent but NOT our names. The recipient had no idea who sent it until I had to finally ask if she rec'd if. My receipt clearly showed our names but they were left off the gift. That was disappointing. I'm assuming she likes the book rack but I won't be sending another gift from this company.

This bookrack is perfect for my daughter's room. I love that it's "low profile" and it doesn't look bulky in her small room, this way she can have her books without sacrificing too much space. As soon as we installed it and I filled it with books, she immediately asked to read some of them. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful Piece - Works perfectly

I loved this piece. It was very simple for my husband to put together, only took about 15 minutes, and it looks beautiful in my daughter's nursery. It holds a lot of books and looks perfect with the rest of her sun valley expresso furniture. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the manufacturer put 4 small round stickers on each piece of wood in the front, that sticky kind that is hard to remove, and it left a sticky residue that I have yet to remove. I will be able to remove it, just haven't gotten a chance and I wish they hadn't done that on such a nice piece of furniture. Other than than it would get a 5 star.

Perfect for Small Space

I have been looking for a bookcase for no other purpose than to store books now and hopefully magazines later. It is low profile and holds a ton of books. It is not a bookcase in the traditional sense, but it will keep your favorites at your fingertips and visible for easy selection and less chance for forgetting!

Good little shelves!

I ordered two of these shelves for my 2-year-old daughter's room, and I couldn't be happier. They are just as I expected. Good quality, sturdy, beautiful. They don't hold as much as a traditional bookcase would, but then my girl's room is tiny. These shelves are shallow enough to fit in an unused corner or a nook by a window. They suit our purposes, make her room look tidier, and she absolutely loves taking the books on and off. She can see her books, and she tells me which ones she wants from the upper shelves (where I keep the ones with paper pages!). All in all, a good purchase. I liked them so much I ordered a third shelf last week, so, yes, I would definitely recommend.

Great, space saving book shelf

We bought this for my son's room - actually holds a lot more books than I thought and displays them in a way that's easy to see and for him to see all his books (versus a traditional shelf).
We bought it in blue - easy to put together and install and totally makes his room more spacious and organized. Love it.

This shelf holds so many books. It is well made and very sturdy. I love the fact that it is on the wall & does not take up any room. It took me a long time to decide on a shelf. I have made my daughter's, small room look great! It still doesn't look small at all & the book shelf is perfect..on a small wall, where her light switch is located. Love it! I can''t say enough good things about it!

We love our book rack, its the perfect addition for our daughter's nursery. We have over 35 board books on it and it doesn't look cluttered. It did take a while to receive (on backorder... then backorder was canceled... ordered again on backorder and finally got it 5 months later), but worth the wait!

Worth the Splurge

I am so happy I splurged on this bookshelf! I love it and we get so many compliments on it as well. It holds a lot of books and it doesn't stick out and take up a huge amount of space in the room. Perfect for a smaller room that needs a bookshelf. We LOVE it in white!

I've been looking at this book rack for 3 years and I'm glad I finally bought one. My son loves putting his books away now. He used to get frustrated with the plain bookshelf because he had to deal with unwieldy bookends. I am also very pleased at the number of books that it actually holds. Way to go PBK :)

Great space saver

Great space saver. I wanted an easy way for her to have her favorite bed time stories in easy reach. This narrow bookcase allows it to fit just about anywhere. I like that it is easy assembly and is sturdy. Matches well with her other white furniture from pbk as well. Not sure why but the paper tgey include to make the holes for stability screws did not match up correctly. This bookcase is light enough to be easily moved during this process. My husband just used a pencil through the screw holes

It's not white

I was looking to get a bright, stark white bookcase. Instead it is antique white. Also the drop down window for color selection says white but is not!

My only complaint is that the bottom shelf has a gap because it is not flush against the wall, so all the books on the bottom shelf slip off the back. I purchased the other shorter and wider one and the bottom shelf has a backing which stops the books from sliding off shelf.

The Perfect Addition to her Nursery

This went well in our playroom. Slim and tall. I was leery that this wouldn't hold enough books. It holds a ton. It holds all of their books with room to spare! The quality is what you would expect from Pottery Barn. Assembly was clear and easy! Friends and family always ask me about them!! Highly recommend!!
