High quality and super cute

This play vanity is adorable, and very well made. It was a Christmas gift for my 2 year old daughter and she looooooves it. In fact, my 3 and 4 year old nephews had a great time with it as well. She loves to sit and play with her jewelry on it and brush her hair. We also ordered the pink ruffled stool to go with it and it is the cutest thing I have ever seen. Really adds that girly touch without being over-the-top frilly. The high quality of these items will allow us to pass them on to her younger sister when the time comes. Love this purchase!

The Best Vanity Out There

The Madeline Play Vanity is precious. It is very dainty yet sturdy...high quality. The finish is beautiful. It matches all of their other simply white furniture which makes it nice because it is easy to coordinate a room. My 3 year old loves it. It is the perfect size and will last for years.

I thought about purchasing this for my two daughters last year at Christmas but wasn't to sure if it was worth the $$. I'm glad I decided to give it a try. My girls love playing with it love looking at themselves in the mirror especially my 4 year old. Great family piece ill have it for a long time

Perfect instructions

Put this together for my daughter with out the help of my husband. Directions were very detailed and it came together like a charm. All of the pre-drilled holes fit great which is not the usual thing for items built overseas. Very cute item. The only reason I did not give this five stars is there are some nicks in the finish on one of the panels. This is a birthday item so no time to return it but this could have easily occurred in shipping. Would prefer if the store carried more items in stock so that you could pick up and return if necessary.

Very cute for 1 or 2 year old but as they get older 4 or 5 year old, I think it is more practical to get the madeline desk with Vanity. They feel like big girls and of course they can use it for study and hair. This smaller vanity is cute but I feel it took longer to put together, it is not as sturdy, and I won't get as much use out of it. In retrospect, I should have gotten the Madeline desk and vanity topper. Had bought it for my 4 year old and passed it down 2 months later to my 2 years old and got the desk and topper for my 4 year old instead. Everyone is happy.

"I'll get you some vanity"

Santa gave this to my 5 y.o. daughter. She LOVES it! She is finally brushing her own hair because she can see it better. The storage areas hold all her accessories in one area. She adores applying her lipstick (Tinkerbell lip balm) and tells any female that she will get them some vanity and applies the "lipstick". Very easy to assemble.

This is a really nice pece of furniture, not just a toy that will soon be forgotten! The only downfall is I wish it came with baskets, or even recomended the correct size to fit the cubby spaces.

Perfect Vanity! Don't Wait Buy Now!

This vanity is just adorable! It's the perfect height for my toddler. She loves to sit on the stool and brush her hair and look at all her stuff on top of the vanity. Don't wait to make this purchase. Do it now and let your daughter enjoy it. This vanity might be too small for an older child like 7 or 8. Very pleased with my purchase; however, for the price, the stool really should have come with it instead of it being a separate purchase. I went with the stool without the cover because I thought it was a little too prissy and over the top. I like the clean modern look of just the stool. The Sabrina baskets fit perfectly on the bottom shelves and the arylic candy jars fit perfectly on the upper shelves.

Perfect for a "big girl" room

Surprised my almost 3 year old with this vanity at Christmas as a starter to her "big girl" room. She immediately started storing her princess shoes, tiaras, brushes, etc...and there's always a baby or stuffed animal on the stool. I see years and years of use with this. Very well constructed. Will be ordering the Catalina bed soon to complete the room. Beadboard bed and a 3-way mirrored vanity - I want one in a grown-up size!

I was reluctant to spend the money on this vanity and almost purchased a cheaper set. I'm SO glad I decided to get this one...way to go PB!! This is so well made and the assembly was a cinch! Well worth the money!!!

I searched everywhere for the perfect vanity for my 3 1/2 year old. I wanted something sturdy and practical, yet elegant and "girly". Overall the Madeline play vanity is the best deal on the internet. Easy to assemble and just the right size for my tall 3 year old. I only wish PB kids still carried the baskets that fit in the cubbies. Those are hard to find. I give this item 5 stars.

Perfect for every little girl

I had been wanting to purchase this for my daughter for a couple of years now. I finally purchased it and wish I bought it sooner. I assembled the unit myself and was very proud. As soon as I put it all together, my 4 1/2 yr old daughter can't stop combing her hair and giving herself a manicure. I know that she will enjoy it for many more years to come. Also, a week after I purchased the vanity, pottery barn had an extra 20% off and they adjusted my purchase making it an even better deal.

My 5 year old daughter has had this vanity since Christmas and loves it! We use the small baskets for headbands, play jewelry, play makeup and other accessories. She always wants to sit at her vanity and have her hair done in the morning! She is currently 45" inches tall and has plenty of room to sit and play. The vanity looks so cute with her Madeline bed and dresser.
For those looking for larger vanities for older kids, try PB Teen -- they have some that look like they will coordinate perfectly with PB Kids furniture.

Very cute "grown-up" vanity in a minature version. It is just darling.
The mirror bracket on one side was bent but we didn't notice until we put it together. PBK agreed to exchange it, but we had to mail the whole vanity back not just the mirror which was a little bit of a hassle.

I bought this for my 3 y/o daughter-she absolutely LOVES it! Every morning, she sits at her vanity, checks herself in the mirror and puts on her jewelry and perfume. I also purchased the little pink and white phone--she loves to sit at her vanity and call grandma...I highly recommend this item!
