Mackenzie Black Butterfly Messenger Bag
Its roomy design and brilliant butterfly print earn this bag top grades. The large main compartment holds school books, folders and even a laptop; the wide, padded shoulder strap makes it easy to carry. 12.5" wide x 4.5" deep x 12" high Shell is woven of tough 600-denier polyester with a moisture-resistant coating. Adjustable shoulder strap is padded for extra comfort. Padded handle is contoured to the hand and front flap has two snap-lock closures. Carries school books, folders, laptop and more; Velcro strap secures belongings. Exterior pocket with Velcro closure on back panel provides extra organization. Personalization is available for an additional $7.00.

Very cute BUT too small

I bought this bag for my 1st grader. She really wanted a messenger. It's very cute and has a handle on top that she uses. BUT it is NOT big enough. Every day she has a reusable water bottle and a three ring binder. On Mondays & Fridays she has her "Friday Folder" and it doesn't fit. On her first Friday home she had to carry her messenger (over shoulder), lunch bag and her Friday folder while trying to hold the handle to run to my car. She got in my car and said "Momma, I have to use last years backpack, UGH." Last years BP is from PBTeen. Guess I should have stuck with PBTeen bags but she liked the butterfly print. Sad day ): Since I had it monogrammed I couldn't return it. Mental Note: No Personalization.
