Mackenzie Lavender Floral Backpacks
Staying organized is fun when you have a backpack scattered with beautiful blooms. Both fanciful and functional, our rugged and roomy bags have lots of pockets, exterior straps and gear loops to keep school essentials in place. Made from rugged, water-resistant 600-denier polyester. All backpacks have adjustable straps that are contoured and padded to ensure a comfortable fit; padded back panel adds extra cushioning. Small and Large backpacks feature an MP3 player pocket cutout for headphone cords. Exterior straps hold a Mackenzie lunch bag (sold separately) securely in place. Exterior side pockets are designed to hold any of our water bottles (sold separately). Personalization is available for an additional $7.00. Mini backpack holds a snack, a change of clothes, and a favorite toy. Small backpack holds a lunch bag, two small notebooks, two books and a water bottle. Large backpack holds a lunch bag, a large notebook, two small notebooks, several books and a water bottle.

This pack is great for my kindergartener! It gets used and not mixed up with others who shop at the same place!

These backpacks are of the highest made quality. We now have 4 from the smallest to the largest & two different types of lunch packs. My daughter is only 5 so we will be adding new patterns to our future school years. Patterns are more vibrant in person & durable. Don't second guess Pottery Barn Quality!

Great Backpack - Pretty, Functional & Priced Right

We just received our Lavender Floral Backpack (size small) and couldn't be more pleased! My kindergartener exclaimed "This is the best backpack ever!"
The small size fits my petite (43") girl well. We needed to upgrade in order to fit the school's "communications envelope" in the backpack - as it (10" x 12") didn't fit in her preschool (an older Pottery Barn model) one.
The straps to attach the lunchbox work great and she's able to do them herself. I especially like the pullties attached to the zippers. These are much better than the elastic cords which were on the backpack and lunchbox we previously purchased from PB.
The colors are pretty. There's even a pocket for an ipod/phone and a special hole for the earphones to run through.
I recommend highly.

great backpack...colors are meh.

first off, we love PBK backpacks. the quality is great, no problem there. Arrived fast (1 week), even when monogrammed. I chose white monogram thread, which i would suggest...shows up well. If you are curious on size you need. PK-1st or 2nd need a small. The preschool one can not fit a piece of paper flat in it. Large would be for a 2-3rd grade up i think.
Anyways, the only thing im disappointed if the colors. The picture online is a lot cuter IMO than the real thing. there is too much ugly brown on it. some of the flowers are two toned brown. anyways, just not that cute, but my daughter is still happy. i would have tried to make her pick something different if i would have seen it IRL beforehand though.

NO LAPTOP HOLDER!

We were very excited to receive this backpack only to be disappointed. I was under the impression that it has a laptop pocket in the main zippered compartment because it did so in the past. Having that extra feature is so useful. It can also be a good organizational carrier for folders, notebooks, or even a change of clothes. Word of advice: read the descriptions carefully and call if you have any questions. But other than that it should be a good backpack. I ordered a Mackenzie backpack for my older daughter 2 years ago and she is still using it to this day (BUT IT HAD THE LAPTOP POCKET!), that's 2 school years and several out of town and one international trips. It has served her well. So despite the expensive price tag for a backpack I didn't mind getting another one. Just only WISH IT HAD A LAPTOP POCKET. So we give it 3 stars because it will still be a good backpack that will last but not an awesome one because of that one lacking feature.
