Wish I would have bought the large backpack
December 21, 2012
This is a really cute backpack. I looked at the dimensions before placing my order, but was still surprised at how small it was when it arrived. I would order the large one if I could do it over. Good quality and cute monogram.

Large mckenzie backpack
November 29, 2012
I recently purchased a large mc Kenzie backpack, since my daughter grew out of her medium one. I was disappointed that large backpack didn't have inside pocket for folders ( her medium one had it). Also, the material didn't seem that sturdy as our previous one:(
Hopefully, it will last through the end of the school year

Lacking previous years quality
November 28, 2012
My eldest daughter has had a Mackenzie Backpack for4yrs. She uses it every day in 1/2 day kindergarten and it has been used for many sleepovers, plane rides, day care etc. I ordered the same size Mackenzie for my 2yr old, and I must say although it is very cute, the quality is just not the same. The fabric is not as thick or strong, the inside pocket has been eliminated from the design....it really feels a lot 'cheaper' than the earlier designs. Had I read reviews on this backpack I may not have ordered, but I assumed I would be receiving the same great quality backpack that my 6yr old has. A little dissapointed!

Sturdy Backpack
July 2, 2012
In kindergarten, my daughter wanted character backpacks and we went through 3 that year. They were inexpensive, but you get what you pay for! Last year in first grade, I decided to spend the money on a PB backpack and it is still in great shape, so much so that I could easily let her use it again this year. I bought it based on previous reviews and I was not disappointed.
She loved all of the pockets as she loves to collect "things" and pencils. The backpack we got was large enough for her communication binder that went back and forth each day and her library books, plus any other things she wanted to put in there. The zippers held up well with the wear and tear and it actually still looks fairly new. I like the dark color as it hides any little marks she gets on it.
I can't think of one complaint I have about it! I will definitely stick with PB backpacks in the future.
