Jet lover in the family
October 29, 2012
I purchased the small size backpack, and I am glad because my son can use it for a few years (pre-K now). The quality seems to be good. I usually avoid personalizing items, but I decided to get it with the name of my sons favorite jet. My only complaint is that the stitching totally got lost in the print. I tried to avoid that, but one doesn't know what part of the print will be on the place where they put the text. This was my first and last time I do that. Overall, I am happy with the purchase, I would not recommend getting it personalized.

Disappointing PBK Experience
September 13, 2012
I was first disappointed to learn ( only after completing my order) that the backpack and lunch bag were on back order. I agree bag is small and will not be able to be used for more than one year. And that is if the craftsmanship makes it that long. The zipper is already challenging. Also, agree with others comments about the planes being upside down. Overali guess I expected more from PBK.

Toooooooooooo small for 2 year old! Disappointment
September 4, 2012
I recieved this backpack in the mail 5 minutes ago, and felt compelled to rush and wright a review over my shock! I read the reviews before purchasing this backpack about the preschool size being small, but I went ahead and ordered the preschool size for my 2 year old and thought he could use for 1-2 years. Plus the small size was back ordered, which gave me more incentive to go ahead and order preschool size. this backpack is tooooo small for a two year old! it measures 9inches wide by 11 inches long. i am very disappointed how tiny it is! I give this product 2 stars instead of 1, because i love the design and quality, but so dissappointed!

too small
August 22, 2012
I bought the girls Mackenzie backpack 2 years ago and was very pleased with my purchase so I not bought the same boys backpack for my 5 y/o. It is not made as well as it had been a few years back. There is no longer an inside pocket, and the inside is smaller. I even compared putting my daughter's school binder in hers, then tried to put the same binder in my son's backpack. I could barely fit it inside. I am quite disappointed, spent a lot of money on a backpack and may end up needing to purchase a new one. PB needs to return to the original quality of the Mackenzie backpack.

Upside Down Planes
August 19, 2012
My son and I were so excited when this backpack arrived. Overall, it is very well made, and the small is the perfect size for my tall 3 year-old. The only issue that I have with this backpack is that the planes on the front of the backpack are upside down! I called customer service to notify them of this issue, and I ordered another one, hoping that the new one will have the planes going in the right direction.

Too small
August 11, 2012
Expected more for price paid for this item. The planes on the fabric of the backpack are upside down, the monogram is too big, and the small backpack is too small. Unfortunate that I am not able to return it for a refund.

PreK Backpack
August 6, 2012
Beautiful but big disapointment in the size. Our son opened it himself and burst into tears because it's so small. My fault for not reading the measurements but this is our 3rd backpack from PBK. Just be aware of the actual size. More suitable for a 2 year old than a prek kid.
