Seams split on the first day!

Normally Pottery Barn has decent quality. Not this time. I bought to give my 10 year old daughter for her birthday. She sat down and the inside pellet stuff flew out and got stuck to everything - the floor, walls, our golden retriever. The seams on the sides are not completely sewn. For this cost, the seams should have been sewn correctly. This really annoys me - not only the mess, but having to clean up the mess and of course my daughter has a gift that she can not use. I am surprised by the lack of quality.

I bought 3 large beanbags. They are all great quality. The fabric on cover is great. The insert was a little difficult to get into cover.
Kids love the big size and comfort.

This was a xmas present, but ordered the oversized one. However, it was much too large for the area that it was intended for, so Pottery Barn cheerfully let me return the personalized item, refunded my purchase in full, and I reordered the regular kids size, was shipped to my granddaughter, and was perfect in size, color and it is greatly enjoyed. Good service from Pottery Barn-good product.

My gdtrs love the large beanbag I previously got for my older gdtr. My 2y r old gdtr enjoys bouncing on the smaller version and the color goes with her room!

Be careful if personalizing

If you are planning on personalizing the beanbag... be careful. My daughter's beanbag just arrived and in order to display her name, she needs to sit on the zipper! The zipper should be facing the floor, but if placed that way, her name would be upside down. I called to order another one, but realized that another person made the same complaint on these reviews. We'll see if it's correct when I get my reorder!

Really nice bean bag and cover. Embroidery was done very nicely and large enough to be noticed. Love that the cover has a zipper with a lock. Great feature! My daughter loves it.
It would have been nice if the bean bag insert was round! It was difficult to get the big square bean bag inside the round cover.
All in all, a great purchase. A little pricey, even on sale, but a great purchase.

Never have purchased a product that my grandchildren have enjoyed more.....The quality is excellent....and they love them year after year....just purchased a beanbag for a two year old and I certainly expect the same quality service from Pottery Barn.....You just cannot go wrong from purchasing a product from this company.

I love the beanbag. I didn't realize it has a lock on the zipper which is even better than I thought. My only problem is that I had it personalized and the name is very close to the zipper, which seems a little odd to me. Otherwise, It's great!
