Light Lavender Anywhere Chair

Finally got to buy one for my own kid!

I have bought several of these chairs for my nieces and nephews and was finally able to buy one for my own child. She loves it! She's 14 months old, so not really able to get up into on her own just yet, but if we set her in it, she happily sits there with her snack. She'll even remain seated long enough for one of us to read a book to her.

Horrible color

I bought this chair for my daughter's first birthday, ( I liked the one I got for my older daughter). It just came today and I was very disappointed. It is not at all the purple color shown in the picture, much closer to a gray which does not go with her room:( Sure wish pottery barn would make a product look like it's actual pictures....

Shows every stain

You would think that a " kids chair" would be a little bit kid resistant seeing as how you pay so much for it. But within a day my child had soiled this chair so bad that it had to be washed and I am having to wash it every other day. This product should come with a can of scotch guard. But my child loves her chair.

Color Problems

I completely agree with the first reviewer. I chose this specifically because it is described as "lavender", and it is unfortunately NOT. I would call the color more grey, chalky, putty-like in color, with very little purple / soft tones. It is dull and the white embroidery does not show up well. I like the sturdiness of the chair itself (this is our second), but would not recommend buying this color. Had I read the previous review, I may not have bought it. Beware if you really want a purple lavender, because this is NOT it.

Disappointed with Color

i was looking for a purplish color for my daughter's chair so decided to go with the lavender. I realized it would be a light purplish color but was so disappointed with the color. I would call it more of a light grey. It didn't look remotely lavender to me. It also shows the slightest speck of dirt. I also had this cover embroidered in white with my daughter's name and the color is so light you can barely see her name. I wouldn't choose this color again. I do have the bright pink cover for my oldest daughter and am very happy with hers.
