Because a home can never have enough storage space, we've created this versatile console for books, toys and more. 27" wide x 18" deep x 28" high Built with kiln-dried solid wood posts for lasting durability. Best toy bin

Holds stuffed animals, trucks, legos, and books galore. It's elevated and easy to access. It's also great looking, with clean straight lines but enough bulk to be substantial. Instructions state that it will take two (men) to assemble the console; it might take two men, but this 69-year-old woman did it alone -- with no problems!

Bought this for open kitchen and family room area. My daughter has the frist table and chairs and they look great together. Now we have a nice looking place to store books and toys!

Nice storage

Overall, this unit was easy to assemble. I had no problems with parts not aligning or being too short. I did need to use a power drill to attach the rear panel and its 22 screws. Instructions said that a Phillips Head screwdriver would be sufficient. The rear of the console did not have corresponding pre-drilled holes for these screws. It seems like a solid piece and will be put to good use by my kids.

I ordered this item twice...and it came damaged twice...in exactly the same place. You would think that, by now, they could get it right. It's been very frustrating. I've been waiting on this item to complete my grandson's room. I will probably try PBK again but definitely won't purchase the Kendall product.

Pieces don't fit properly

We ordered 4 of these storage consoles in hopes that they could be used as toy bins. I am mechanically inclined but some pieces would not tighten and stay flush. The top front slat is too short and there is 1/8 of an inch of space remaining between both side posts. Additionally, the color is not white, it is cream. We are returning all 4 consoles.

I am very happy with this piece. I know we will be using it for many years to come. Its very sturdy, the size is great, and its versatile. The color is a creamy white which I like with my other PBK furniture.

Quality is not up to standard

3 of the 6 holes do not line-up for screws, as female fitting is not embedded correctly in construction. Additionally, front slats do not lie flush to side-posts, due to snap fitting portruding too far. I would expect more quality from PBK and for the price. Other furniture from other vendors is higher quality and lower-priced.

not really white

We ordered the White Kendall Storage Console, and it is actually a cream or antique white. Our house has white running boards and white framing the windows (almost exactly like they show in the photo on the website), and I just wanted this simple white furniture to match. It does NOT match, not even close. It isn't a true white color.

I ordered this item & it came damaged. I then ordered a replacement & that came damaged too. The side panel was damaged from the manufacturer not from the delivery.

We bought the Kendall Storage in Espresso for our 1 year old son's toy box. We are using it in our living room. It looks great with our living room furniture, which is cherry, and our son loves it. It was easy to put together and very sturdy.

Great for a small house!

We ordered the storage console after a long search for the perfect toy storage unit. We couldn't wait for it to arrive. Unfortunately, one of the legs was broken when we pulled it out of the box. The PB customer service people were great though and sent a brand new one out the next day. They also picked up the damaged so I didn't have to figure out how to ship it back. This piece is very well made, holds a large number of toys, and is perfect for fitting into a small space. It is low enough so that my one year old can reach in and pull things out, (and occasionally put them back!) It is actually in our living room, we don't own any other pieces of the Kendall collection, but it matches the color and style of our other furniture. We couldn't be happier!
