Looks nice
March 26, 2013
I bought this bed in Nov 2012 for 2 yo son and only had 1 bed set up with the rails. I really love the look of this bed but it already has scratches on it and dings up pretty easily. My son doesn't really play in his room so the wear is from getting in and out of bed. The rails also seem a bit flimsy. For the price and seeing how it's a bunk bed for kids I would've expected something a little bit more solid.

Nice bunkbed
January 11, 2012
We purchased this last year for our 2 daughters. We were able to purchase a floor model in store and it was nice to be able to see it in person before making such a large purchase. We have been really happy with it. It is very sturdy and good quality. Some reviewers have noted that there are holes/screws visible. I guess it just depends on which way you have it in the room. I can see how they would be noticeable. They do not bother me.

Holes
December 11, 2011
Be sure to see bed in store.
It has ugly holes in the posts
for the very large bolts, plus
one hole per post left open.

Great choice
July 8, 2011
Purchased these bunk beds for my grandsons and love them! They are very sturdy, well made, and the finish on them is gorgeous. I have had bunk beds before and you could lie on your back on the bottom bunk and push up on the upper bunk. You can't do this with these as there are numerous slats that make the upper bunk unmovable. The side rails make the bed very safe too. Great purchase!

Sturdy bed for active kids
July 9, 2010
We have had the Kendall bunk bed for two years now (since June 2008) and after all the climbing, jumping, and everything else that 2 active kids put this bed through it is still rock solid. My only complaint would be the finish, we have the now discontinued Sun Valley Red, which has chipped in many places from everyday use. That said, I would buy this bed again in a heartbeat!

Solid purchase
July 1, 2010
I bought this bed in white for my girls' room. We purchased Moosehead furniture for our older son due to the quality construction and materials, so when they went out of business, I did a lot of research to find furniture of comparable quality. This bed is well constructed and of high quality. One note about the color, it is more of an antique versus a pure white. It looks great with the girl's pink madras quilt.

nice...but...
March 19, 2010
After many weeks of research and comparison from internet to catalog to store, we decided to buy this bunkbed set for our sons new big boy bedroom. The look including the rustic sun valley honey color are exactly what we wanted. The quality vs. price however are a different story. The bunkbed is constructed of solid, sturdy hardwood but the veneer overlays on the woodframe are very soft. We have found that they scratch and chip with little effort, wear, and tear. Overall, we gave this bunkbed an average rating because we really do love the look and are not entirely dissapointed with the product. Though we can not recommend it because we feel that the higher price does not reflect the excellent quality that we feel it should.
