Jared Star Shade & Mason Base
Perfect on a bedside table, this lamp brings warm light to the room. 6" square at base, 17" high Lamp base is made of sturdy iron. Touch base offers three levels of brightness. UL-listed. Jared star shade is made of paper with a vellum lining. Light shines through the cutouts to project stars onto the wall.

Great shade

I purchased this lamp shade and then later the constellation base.....my son LOVES it! It goes perfectly with his rocket themed room and the constellation base/Jared shade help display stars on his ceiling/walls at bedtime. It is his new love!

Great lampshade

This lampshade is so cute - the light really shines through the stars. I paired it with a different PB Kids navy base and it looks great.

Good looking shade though made of paper

I bought this shade to go with the candle stick base. They look great together. My only concern is that the shade is made of paper so I wonder how long it will last. Based on this I'm not sure that it's great value for money. I have kept it however as it does look good.

Star Shade-Not what it claims

Bought the Jared Star Shade for my nephew's 5th birthday. It is a beautiful, rich navy blue and is good quality. I bought the shade because it claimed to shine stars on the walls. However, it does NOT shine stars anywhere. The stars light up because of the thin vellum paper but stars do NOT shine on the walls. The shade is pretty but it should do what the description claims.
*If PB changed the description so as not to be misleading then I would definitely recommend this to a friend because it is a good shade at a good price.

Both my boys have the Mason base and the touch feature is a hit. Highly recommend. I was thinking of getting one for myself!

Great bedside lampbase!

I bought 2 of these for 9 and 12 year old boys. They are so cool and work great. The boys love them. Just touch the base to turn on, three levels of light available and then touch again to turn off. They are sturdy and the brushed nickel is not cheap looking. Kind of pricey for just a base, but we will have these a long time. Just change out the shade for a new look!! One boy has the brown drum shade from PBteen and the other a great looking navy/white soccer ball shade from PB kids store. Love this lamp!
