Pleasant Addition to Room

I have been eyeing this chair for a while now, so when my husband and I decided to redo our son's room Spider-man themed I knew immediately that we were going to get this chair. Our son adores his anywhere chair, it is the perfect size for him, easy to assemble, and the cover is made of excellent quality fabric and design. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

My granddaughters love their anywhere chairs. They can take them any where in my house to read books, watch Nana clean or cook or just watch TV. The covers wash beautiful and are easy to put back together. I have purchased 5 chairs and plan to purchase more if I'm blessed with more grandchildren. They also make great gifts for first birthdays.

I have bought 2 "anywhere chairs"...one for a grandson and one for a granddaughter. They absolutely love them, but I was shocked to see that the personalization stitching on one of the chairs is coming out after a couple of washings! I am so disappointed! I was going to buy another for a new grandaughter, but I will think twice! The personalization is what makes them so cute!

Purchased this chair in August 2010 for my then 16 month old. He's now 2.5 yrs and the chair has held up well to his abuse. The inner cushions have held their shape to his climbing and wrestling of the chair. The liner that protects the foam inserts has been great, protecting it from the occasional spill of juice (and potty mishaps). The cover washes well, we do not throw it in the dryer though, just line dry. And the personalization worked well also, helping to teach him the letters in his name.

Anywhere chair

My son seems to like the chair although he's still a little young (11months).
We have a little bit of an issue with the insert for the arm of the chair on one side but not enough to return it. Seems like the insert doesn't fit the slipcover right so it shifts to the right quite a bit. My husband has tried to adjust it many times with no luck. Doesn't mess with the function of the chair. Just a cosmetic issue.
Slipcover is great (red with navy piping) and the personalization is adorable.

Great over-sized chair

Just purchased this item, so not sure of how it washes. We bought the red over-sized chair with navy piping and personalized it. The chair looks great in his sports themed room and will definitely last a long time. He is almost 3 & he can sit in the chair comfortably with another friend. The chair is very well made and the inside cushions are thick and sturdy!! I love that you can take it apart to wash the cover, that alone is worth 5 stars!!!

The Anywhere Chair - A Favorite

I have been buying the Anywhere Chair from Pottery Barn Kids as a first birthday gift for each of my grandchildren. I now have seven grandsons and just purchased one for the sixth grandson who was one on July 27th. The next chair will be purchased in September. I have to add that ALL the chairs are still in excellent condition and the boys (all grandsons) sit on them all the time. Plus, the engraving of the child's name makes it personalized. I highly recommend this product!

This chair is awesome! He loved the box for a few days, but once the box was gone, he loved the chair. It is big enough for me or my husband to sit in with our son to read. He will be one at the end of June and we gave it to him early. We will be ordering one for our niece in September for her second birthday since she loves his chair so much.

Great Chair

I researched a lot of chairs before I purchased and glad I ended up purchasing this one. I bought this for my 19month old son and what a great choice. The size is perfect and he can grow with it. Because he is messy, I can just take off the slipcover and put it in the wash, and trust me, I will probably have to do it a lot. I am also going to purchase extra slipcovers as well.

My son just turned 2 and he loves it and how is says ("me") his name. I have a nieces who is 1 and a nephew who is 5 and they all take turns sitting in it. I actually just washed it because my son split a drink on it and it didn't get to the cushions inside the slip cover. I also love how each seperate cushion inside is wrapped with a allergy free cover, wonderful idea!! Highly recommend this item to any age group!!

A Hit with the Grandchildren!

We purchased two chairs for our 7 year old and 3 year old grandchildren. After going into a Pottery Barn for Children store, we were better able to determine the size that we should buy for them. We opted for the middle size since the female clerk actually sat in one for us and she had plenty of room! The grandchildren received them and loved having their names embroidered on their new chairs. We are very pleased with our gift.

Great chair

I bought this chair for my four year old to have for watching tv, reading, etc. He absolutely loves his chair! He has flipped over and used it as a slide as well. It is a very durable chair!

My son LOVES this chair

I bought this chair for my 15 month old son and needless to say he loves the chair. It makes story time so much fun and I think he feels like a big boy having his own chair.
The assembly was pretty easy. It came in four pieces that you have to stuff into a slipcover which was a little difficult. Once everything is in place though, it looks great.
The slipcover is very well made. When placing the foam pieces inside the cover, it has little compartments which makes the assembly a little easier. Also, it just seems like such great quality.
I would definitely buy this chair again, and in fact, will be doing so when our son's baby sister arrives.

2nd grandson, 2nd chair!

We purchased our first grandson his chair for his 1st birthday and now have purchased one for the youngest grandson, he will be a year this month (4/11). The 1st chair is used and enjoyed and we know the 2nd one will be too. Is is so cute to see both boys "reading" in the chair! Everone loves the chair, thank you.

Great chair. We bought the toddler chair for our daughter at age 1 and the oversized chair for her at 4. The chair is just as sturdy as the first one and I think she will have it for several years. It is well made and fits together nicely.

I am very disappointed in the choice of fonts. When I purchase something from Pottery barn Kids it is obviously for a child. When a child learns how to write, they write the letters correctly- however, when we purchase from PBK the a is not correct, etc. My grandson insists that his chair is not his because Noah is not spelled with an a. My granddaughter chair is Berea but Berea is not spelled correctly.
