Love the design, hate the mess

I love, love, love Pottery Barn in general. We have decked out all of our kids rooms in their stuff - from windows to bedding to floors and everything inbetween. Their designs just hit me right on. But this rug - we have had it for 5 years - is STILL covering the second story of my house in blue tinted fuzzballs. No matter how much I swiffer or vacuum, it just will not stop shedding. Forget about sitting in it with dark pants on. It will get all over you. I LOVE the design and it looks great in the room. But, it's really more work than it's worth. PB - keep your awesome design but fix how these rugs are made PLEASE!

Beautiful Rug

We really love this rug. It is soft to lay on even without a rug pad (although we will get one soon). What I wasn't able to see is that the blue areas of the rug have other colors speckled in. It really looks incredible. LOVE IT!

Beautiful Rug

We bought this rug for our children's payroom. After hours and hours of searching for the perfect rug, I finally settled on this one and I am not disappointed. Quality is great! Colors are amazing. It does shed a little bit, but not nearly as bad as I thought it would. Just a quick vacuum and the fuzz is gone. Having pets, it does snag sometimes so I just use scissors to snip it off and you can not even tell that there is a sang anymore. I would definitely recommend this rug to anyone looking for great quality and color.

Great looking rug, but terrible shedding

Love the look of this rug, but the shedding is unbelievable. Kids' clothes are covered in fibers and we've filled multiple vacuum bags vacuuming it, and it doesn't seem to stop. Also, the rug seems to get pulls easily, but that's not a big deal compared to the shedding.

I loved the rug! It is soft, very nice color and, looked just perfect! The very first week I noticed one side had a thread popping up. Honestly not a big deal. It's been 4 weeks and I have about 7 more threads and my children dont even play on it that much to cause those. I bought the biggest size and I live quite away from the store. I need to roll it and take it back to the store, pick something else and place an order again and go back and pick it up when my order is ready. Really inconvienent.....

This is a beautiful rug that is not for children. I purchased this rug for a guest suite and the first time I had a guest (including a child) the rug snagged. When I called Pottery Barn to request a return I was informed that you have to be careful with this looped rug or it will snag. In fact, the customer service representative told me that it might snag if you "drag your foot in the wrong direction". I returned the rug and will find something else. A rug that delicate should not be sold by Pottery Barn Kids as a child's rug.

This is a handsome rug in design and style and perfect for our 3 yr old grandson's ever changing room. I see it staying with him as he grows. The colors will allow us to change the theme of his room without replacing the rug.

I love the colors in this rug and it looks FANTASTIC in my son's room. However....it sheds like crazy! The "fuzz" is being tracked through the entire house and is a REAL pain.

I purchased this as a gift for my grandson's newly decorated bedroom. When my daughter saw it she was thrilled. The blues are bright and match his wall color perfectly. It has a soft yet substantial feel to it. I am very happy with this purchase.

Perfect Rug for a Playroom

We love this rug - it goes perfectly in our boys playroom.
The design is fun without being too babyish and so we are hopeful it will be just as suitable for a teen chillout room as it is for a toddler playroom.
The rug does shed quite a lot at first which is the reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars.

Perfect for Playroom

I've been searching for a rug for our playroom for months, and am thrilled that I finally decided on this one. I could have saved myself a lot of time by just ordering it in the first place. I could not find anything locally that came close to this rug in terms of appearance (bright, fun colors for young boys; kid-friendly, yet classic enough to enjoy for years), quality, and price. It coordinates perfectly with our red couch and multi-colored toys and storage bins. We've only had it a week, but I haven't noticed any shedding of fibers or off-gassing yet. It completes the room.
