Cute, but small

I bought this for my 11 year old daughter. I love the color - it goes with her room perfectly. However, it is stuffed so full she doesn't sit in it, but is perched on top which is not overly comfortable.

Cover good quality - insert could be better

I read the other reviews before purchasing this, and shopped around but got it anyway. I bought 2, this one for my daughter and the red one for my son. The cover is very thick and sturdy and should stand up to many washings without problem. The embroidery was coming undone out of the box, so I called PBK, and they replaced it right away, no probelm. The insert is filled with chopped up styrofoam not stryofoam beads or beans. And it is over filled. I removed a trashbag and a half from each insert. I am saving those for when they start to get flat in a few years. I had to try to take foam out 2x, since the insert is actually bigger than the cover. The first time i took some out and sat on it, thinking it was just right then re-stuffed it. It was still too full even though it had been fine out of the cover. So i had to take more out to make up for the cover being smaller than the insert. Overall good quality, but you have to work with it to get it just right.

DOT BEAN BAG

BEAN BAG WAS CUTE. ALL WAS CORRECT. BUT WHEN WE TRIED TO "LOCK" THE COVER......IT IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE AND THE CHAIN HOLDING THE KEYS IMMEDIATLY BROKE!!! NOT GOOD FOR A BEAN BAG THAT COST ME $200!!!! :(

Stuffing of bag is disaster

The stuffing is tiny styrofoam pellets in such a flimsy bag that my kids *sitting* on the bags broke the insert within the first week. At which point, all the styrofoam pellets stick to the inside of the cover which makes it IMPOSSIBLE to take off the cover to clean it. If you buy it, assume that you will only be able to spot clean the cover.

Not that soft

I bought this for my daughters 2nd birthday. The craftsmanship is good. It did not come with a locking zipper like it was supposed to. The only complaint I have is that I thought it would be more comfy. It seems to be a bit harder and more firm then what a bean bag should be. Other than that "we" all love it.

Lovely cover, flimsy insert

The bean bag cover is lovely, and coordinates well with the green mini dot panel curtains and lavender Katie patchwork quilt. It is a nice, heavy quality that seems like it will last many years.
HOWEVER, the beanbag insert itself is made of a very thin paper-weave material. Our fingers (!!) put 2 holes in the bag (styrofoam beads everywhere!) while putting it in the cover. The directions say to be careful, but no amount of careful can prevent you from tearing a hole in the flimsy material. (We sewed it ourselves to repair.) Why would a kid's beanbag be made out of a non-durable material?

Oversized Bean Bag

Purchased 2 oversized bean bags for my 2yr g/b twins. Their comfortable to sit on and large enough for adults to use. My kids absolutely love them and with the oversized beanbags I won't have to worry about them outgrowing them, so it's definitely worth the money. Plus the quality of the slip cover is great.

Our only complaint is that it's overstuffed. It's a large (nearly) solid ball that a person cannot sink into. Quality seems fine.

Quality Merchandise

I am very pleased with the high level customer service at PBK as well as the high quality merchandise. My sons entire bedroom is furnished with PBK and it not only looks great it is sustainable furniture. This is important because my boys are 6 and 8 and are very active yet everything still looks picture perfect and its comfortable!! I love the over sized beab bags that I only have to replace the inserts every couple of years!! The website is user friendly and convenient when I don't want to go into one of the stores. Ah, I simply love it!!!

The bag is overstuffed with styrofoam balls. there is a zipper on the actual bag with the styrofoam balls and we decided to take almost half out.... even though we did it outside with a huge garbage bag the foam balls were EVERYWHERE in our yard (and neighbors). it was very difficult to get the balls out. plus i dont like that they used styrofoam. the bag still seems too stuffed to sit on. we probably need to take more out but are afraid to get them all over again!

I LOVE the removable cover, any "oophs" and I can take off the cover and wash it. The only bummer was in the personalization, my daughter's name has an uppercase in the middle of her name, I was told that it could not be done. But we do love the bag.
