We've updated our top-of-the-line kitchen with a slightly slimmer profile to better suit small spaces. Each piece has interactive elements that encourage creative play and motor development, including knobs that click, a sink that holds water, doors that open and close, clock hands that turn, spinning faucet handles, and a soap pump that goes up and down. Stove: 16" square, 22.5" high Sink: 16" wide x 14" deep x 22.5" high Refrigerator: 17" wide x 13" deep x 32.5" high Handcrafted of kiln-dried birch. Stove features rotating knobs. Sink features a pull-out dishwasher drawer. Fridge includes an ice maker and three ice cubes. Catalog / Internet only.

This is truly ADORABLE!! I love that this matches in my home sooo well!! The design is perfect!!!
If you are trying to decide between this kitchen and the retro pink, here are a few things to consider. The pink set in bigger, and heavier. I believe the pink one will last longer cause it is much heavier and sturdier.
I have both sets and love them both!! I got this one for in my kitchen (matches perfectly) and the Pink on for the play room! :)

color match?

Does anybody know if this set will match color of darker table and chairs? Decided against pink kitchen set although bigger. I wished they still sold the island kitchen they had several yeas ago. However, I hope this smaller set will last for years as I plan to put set on a pedestal for a higher level of play as I love the color of this set much more than the pink and red.

I bought the set for the Early Learning Center that I run. The children have loved this set and it has held up very well under the amount of use is has gotten. Unfortunately, the refrigerator did not arrive with the set and is no longer available--it would be the perfect piece for our collection. As always, we have been very pleased with the quality and the design of our Pottery Barn furniture!

Great stove-Why no other pieces?

My boys love the stove. (All are amateur cooks in the making.) We're all disappointed that no other items in the collection are available, i.e. the refrigerator and the sink. The stove item description says "New" which led me to believe the other items would become available after our purchase of the stove in Dec. 2010. It's April 2011 and although the sink and refrigerator are still listed online, they still read "No longer available." Because the items are still on the page, I hope that means they soon will be available. Customer service has been of no assistance when I asked about availabililty and online listing. Good way to lose long-time customers!

Pink Retro is better

We bought the pink retro set for our grandaughters for Christmas, and before that Christmas they came out with the new one. They said we could trade along with some money for the new set. My husband and I went and lookes at the new set and decided we made a better decision with the pink retro and the fact that the girls play with it everyday also says we did. Happy Grand parents

My favorite kitchen set

I bought this whole set to have here for my grandkids to play with. It matches my kitchen so well, I have it in my kitchen/dining area. It is beautiful , good furniture quality ,very well made. I can't believe it is no longer available. So sad. It was a bit pricey but I got it when it was on sale. Bring it back for generations to come.

If I had known this collection was going to be discontinued or only available for a limited time, I would not have bought just the stove. The plan was to get the stove for Christmas and Fridge or sink for our daughter's birthday. I feel we should have been informed. I hope they bring it back!

Very Dissapointed

We Love this Gourmet Stove...we are just extremely dissapointed we can not purchase the sink and refrigerator as it seems as though the rest of the collection is no longer available!

Gourmet Stove

Great play stove! Solid construction and looks great with our decor. The kids love playing with it. However, I am extremely unhappy that the other pieces sold out in December. The note next to the pieces said "New Item" so I assumed there would be enough for the holidays or at least the line would be continued.

Perfect for my little chef

Beautiful wood finish, love the clicky knobs and attention to detail on the joinery and accuracy of a real stove. My son plays with his stove everyday and cooks next to dad as the stove is compact and easily carried from playroom to our kitchen. The pots & pans, fruits, veggies and cookie sets make it so 'real' for our son to be creative and for the entire family to spend quality time together!

small but attractive

i got this for my 4 yo
she is enjoying it
my only complaint is the size
it is very petite
my daughter is in the 25th % for height and already towers over the stove
so far she hasn't seemed to care but i anticipate this will be a short lived toy because of the size

Great UNISEX kitchen collection!

My 2 year old son loves to cook, clean, use his tools and play with cars! I saw this kitchen collection and new it was perfect. I didn't feel like I had to choose a color that was right for him or right for my decor. It matches everything perfectly. He loved it! After he saw this and opened his pots and pans he didn't want to open any other Christmas gifts! Great job PBK!

BEAUTIFUL!

We purchased this set 2 yrs ago for our daughter for Christmas, cost was A LOT more, and they are beautiful. The only problem I have had is with the refridgerator, the door slants and as time goes on it slants more and more to were the magnets don't latch anymore to keep it closed. I returned one but the 2nd one was the same way. I would definelty recommend this set & at this price it's a great purchase. I would give it 5 stars for look, very sharp looking, but only gave it 4 because I paid a lot of money for it to have the fridge door slant.

I ordered this kitchen and could not be more impressed by the quality! The stain is very rich and it's perfect for a little girl or boy. My daughter cooks all the time with it and especially loves the ice cubes that come out of the ice dispenser in the fridge. The sink faucet is also exceptional...very heavy duty metal. Thanks PB for another great product!

Gourmet Kiddie Kitchen

My daughter and I love the pottery barn gourmet kitchen we just had delivered. I researched all the kids kitchens on-line, and though this one was the most expensive, it is also the least kitchy. Since the kitchen is standing in our small living room, I appreciate that it matches our other decor and doesn't scream "kids play area." I love how all the pieces work, and my little one loves all the play food we bought to go with the kitchen. My only regret is that no sooner did we buy the kitchen and pottery barn put it on sale! We also payed a serious premium as Canadian customers, but I hope it will have serious play value for my little one and any brothers, sisters and friends to come.
