Giraffe Decal

I purchased this decal along with the monkeys for our playroom. They look wonderful, but like everyone else said, the legs for 6 and 7 are mixed up. The decals are just adorable and look great even after being readjusted (which I did multiple times).

I purchased this decal along with the elephant, hippo, monkeys and birds for my grandaughter's playroom. They have been on the walls for over 18 months and look as beautiful as the day we put them up. So easy to put. Every thinks we had an artist paint and we have textured walls!! I cannot say enough good things about these high quality decals. I still smile each time I walk in the room. Grandchild number 2 is about to enjoy them as well.

Great for Kids Rooms

I purchased 4 decals (giraffe, elephant, hippp and monkeys) and kept 3 (returned the elephant due to the color). All the decals are great, but BIG. Here are a few tips. 1) Measure the space first, because these decals are BIG:). 2) Removing and hanging the decals is a two person job. When taking the decal pieces from the paper they came on, it is a two person job. For example, the giraffe was the first one we hung and the head piece (the decals come in multiple pieces, head, body, legs) is a big piece. I tried to peel it off myself and it started to fold into itself and trying to unpeel it once two sticky sides had connected, was not fun or easy. 3) Make sure you have a book, ruler or something you can use to smooth out the air bubbles once you have put it on the wall.

This giraffe wall decal made such a huge difference in our playroom. I love it! It was so easy to apply and so far I have had no problems with it peeling off because my walls are not smooth. So worth the money...I even bought the monkeys and birds too!

I was very hesitant to spend over $100 on a wall sticker when there are so many options out there, however, I bit the bullet and it's worth the money! I first bought the monkeys to test them out and ended up adding the giraffes and birds to the room because they were so cute. So far every person that has seen the room thinks it's been hand painted! Just adorable, and definitely turns an ordinary room into something special.

I love this in our playroom - the colors are great, and it was pretty easy to put up. The only issue was what everyone else has said...legs are numbered wrong. We noticed it before putting it up, and it wasn't a problem. I hate how expensive this decal is, but I'm still glad I bought it!

Legs are misnumbered!

I love this giraffe wall decal but two of the legs are misnumbered (these numbers are one's guide to hanging it.) Leg numbers 6 and 7 should be reversed when assembling the decal. It's very cute but I have textured walls so getting the decal to lie flat was a challenge, but not very noticeable!

Cute but...

I was really excited when I ordered these after reading such great reviews. However, they are not staying on my walls as nice as I would like. We have a new house, so I am not sure if it is the texture on the wall, but the decals are pealing off the walls and we just put them up this week. We are going to try to find some "post it" glue to put on them to see if that will keep them on the wall. It is super cute and I hope we can find a way to get them to stick better to the walls.

I love the Giraffe, it fits right in with the jungle theme bedding. It is smaller than anticipated but still a good size to be the center focus on a wall. It looks amazing in the nursery. Expensive but totally worth it. Have the monkey and hippo too.

Adorable Nursery Addition

I just put my giraffe up yesterday and it is absolutely adorable! It is easy to remove and re-stick while hanging, and it goes on really well. It is similar to a contact paper for shelving. The giraffe comes in seven pieces. It takes a bit of work to line up everything and get it smooth, but it is worth the effort. It probably took me 30 minutes to hang, and I was working with a very old, uneven corner.
I did notice that in mine, the instructions and the numbers on the pieces were wrong. The front leg just wouldn't line up. Then I realized it was labeled wrong and matched it based on the cut and it worked fine.
Absolutely adorable addition to my nursery. I am sure it will be great in yours as well!

I thought that is was going to be a breeze to hang this decal as I had previously hung the palm trees and monkeys. However, it proved more difficult as the mane of the giraffe folded over onto itself. Once I was able to separate it, VERY carefully and slowly, all went well. It was hard to get it on the wall straight as the directions say to start with the head and neck. It might have been easier to start with the legs. Also, it seems that two of the legs were reversed. I ignored the instructions and it worked out just great in that area. The nursery for our boys looks great!

This giraffe is soooo adoarable! With a little planning it was pretty easy to put on the wall. It looks FANTASTIC!!! We also purchased the monkeys and it all looks WONDERFUL!!!!! We have gotten soooo many compliments.

I bought this wall decal for my little girl's nursery. I would suggest unrolling the giraffe when it first arrives, so that it doesn't curl up when placing it on the wall. I also suggest that you have two people; one person to unpeel the decal while the other places it. Lastly, the two front legs were numbered wrong on the diagram, watch for that! Overall love the product!

I bought this for a friend who is expecting. She and her husband put it up easily. It is adorable in the nursery and they are going to buy the monkeys decals as well. I've recommended it to my sister-in-law who is about to become a grandmother!

Cute decals

I purchased the giraffe, elephant, monkies, and bird decals for my 2 year old's room. The decals look very cute in the room. They weren't too difficult to install. They come in multiple pieces, but it would be helpful to have a second person to help as the pieces are quite large. I do feel the decals are overpriced, however. If placing the decals near a heat register, be sure to put a air diverter on the register, as the heat will peel the decal off the wall. The decals do leave a sticky residue on the drywall, too, which is not desirable.

Just put the giraffe up today... We, too, were worried about it sticking to itself and about running into trouble repositioning it, but we laid it out flat underneath our bed for a night (so that no little fingers would get into it) and---though I was sweating through the entire hanging process--- it turned out beautiful!
Now that the little one is sleeping, I'm back online to order the hippo!

I love my wall decals! The girafffe is my third wall decal. I purchased the elephant, the monkeys, and then the giraffe. I LOVE THEM ALL! They are easy to apply, and easy to move if you don't like your placement the first time (believe me, I know) My nursery is beautiful! The quality of the decals is great. I am very pleased with my purchase!

Great way to decorate

This giraffe grabs your eye the moment you walk into the nursery. It is really easy to apply. And yes, you can peel it off and reposition when you inevitably misjudge that first placement. Since it and the others (monkeys, elephant, etc) arrive in tubes, we laid them flat overnight before applying, just in case. A super alternative to painting!

This was very easy to install, the adhesive was strong yet gentle to not damage the wall. I also purchased the monkeys, elephant and palm trees. My grandson's playroom looks like it was done professionally. Tons of compliments!! Very attractive!
